You suck on Florida's tit.

UT only has 3 national titles because of Jim Crow in Texas, so one has to laugh at the "progressive" town of Austin.

They don't have the academics for the Big10
I really doubt that the B1G would stick its nose up at Oklahoma if the situation were to arise.

Nebraska is no more prestigious academically than Oklahoma and the B1G had no issues welcoming them with open arms.

Don't need another dirtbag school. They'd be worse than anyone in the SEC.

Nebraska was AAU when they joined the Big Ten, but lost their spot.

Oklahoma is nowhere near being AAU right now.

Florida and Vandy were the only universities in the SEC with higher academic standards than OU. Texas had better academics than anyone in the Sec, and they declined the offer as well.

No they don't...typical Big 12 4 wideout pass first team who
sucks in post season play..Perhaps the most overrated program
in cfb the last 5 years.

Nebraska is connected to another Big10 state and was a AAU member at the time they were invited and approved to join.

Oklahoma isn't geographically a fit and isn't even close to AAU status.

Well first of all that doesn't really work now does it?
Second if the big 10 offered OU and they didn't take it that is just dumb. I don't believe that. I am calling bullshite. The Big 10 makes the most money, then the SEC, and then the Pac 12. I can believe the Big 10 would turn down OU for academics, but I don't believe for a second OU would turn down the Big 10 to play for less money in the Pac 12, or the Big 12.

You're just making shite up now. Half the SEC has better academic rankings than OU

Pretty sure the following schools have better academic credentials than Oklahoma:

Georgia
Texas A&M (AAU)
Auburn
Alabama
Missouri (AAU)
Tennessee

Texas has better academics than Vandy and UF? Based on what metrics, exactly?

And to think that OU is significantly more prestigious than UGA, A&M, Auburn, Alabama, and Missouri is insanity.

Why you could add Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and move Auburn and Alabama to the east. That evens the conferences out pretty well.

The ONLY reason to expand is to greatly increase the base TV/media territory of the SEC. Oklahoma brings exactly NOTHING to the SEC in terms of $$$. Just one more mouth to feed and everyone else would get less $$$. (Plus, we'd have to take Ok State too and that makes the $$$ situation even worse.)

IF we expand, it MUST be to a populous state or states where we have no base territory. North Carolina and Virginia would work.

SEC academics are a joke. Hell, you still have people pushing for segregation down there. At least Oklahoma's Heismans are all from OK.

Go comb your effeminate bangs over your forehead, Bubba.

SEC would love to get UNC but they aren't going to be able to rip them out of the ACC. It'll be interesting to see what happens when the big 12 blows up. I don't want OU at all but it wouldn't surprise me if the SEC gets okie state and OU and make the 4 team pod system.

I can't think of anything southern about OK. The first Sooners and first Boomers were Jayhawkers (Union soldiers).

This really does explain a lot.
