The thing that I don't get is how mediocre SEC teams are OK with seeing their team settle for less.
the thing that i dont get is why have OU fans been on an SEC site begging for attention for years

Remind me again who owns the OU Aggie series?
Aggie couldn't win in a mediocre Big 12, had to run from big brother Texas to get out of their shadow, and Aggie has yet to come close to winning the SEC.

I have no beef with Bama, but the last time a Sooner squad faced the mighty tide, your boy AJ was getting smacked around by a mediocre Big 12 defense and Eric Striker, something like 7 sacks.
Until they meet again I guess.
You are right that OU beat Alabama the last time they played.... congrats on that...
However Alabama has played for a won a national title since then, how has OU done?

how does it feel being the only program in the nation that is handcuffed to both their big and little brother?

Damn you Bama, Auburn, and Tennessee. I blame you 3 for this "Whooping SEC arse" talk.

there is no reason a team that lost to Iowa State deserves a playoff invite.

TideFaninFL, you sure are one dimwitted person.
The 1951 Sugar Bowl was not a NC game. Oklahoma was already declared the National Champion. The same concept applies to the 1964 and 1973 Alabama teams that won the National Title prior to their bowl losses.
Also, the SEC was the only conference back in the day to go to bowls in every season, which is why a lot of those bowls were SEC vs SEC.
You don’t know much about the history of the game other than reading the Alabama media guide for all your research.
Edit to Add: you are, what they call, a T-shirt Alabama fan who jumps on the bandwagon to make yourself somewhat relevant. Nice try though. You keep up that good fight you little whipper snapper!

These dirt eaters wouldn't even be in the playoff if they were in the SEC this season.
I watched Missouri play in both conferences. We had to adjust big time to the grind in the SEC. It's just a different animal to tackle.
fricking 0U fans....

Oklahoma hasn't beaten A&M in the state of Texas in nearly 10 years.
41-13
33-19

The state of Oklahoma makes Nebraska look like the garden of Eden.

If OU wins it’s bc UGA is prolly beat up and tired from beating everyone they played in the SEC

Missouri is a dump thanks to St. Louis, Cracklumbia, Joplin, Springfield, etc. Best part of the Show-Me-Nothing State is leaving it. Gladly Kansas and Oklahoma are there to save people.
Btw, you all couldn’t do squat in the XII and still can’t do anything in the SEC.

edit to add- the SEC averages 3 National titles per decade, and Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, Florida, and Georgia have all won multiple titles..... what are those Big 7/8/12 teams that have won multiple titles again?
We added three to that average. You’re welcome.

LOL...... Yes OU had been declared the NC for that year, yet they lost to Kentucky. Now I do know about the 64 and 73 Alabama teams, but many OU fans want to say that Alabama did not win the NC those years, I guess you are not one of them
For the record that makes OU 0-3 against the SEC in title games.
I can not help if your conference was chicken shite and and prevented your team from competing in bowls. And while there are a few SEC vs SEC matchups, there are also Big 12 vs Big 12 (or does 1979 ring a bell....)
Alabama played two games against SEC teams,
Ole Miss in 63
LSU in 2011 (but that was for the title and in the BCS era)
Alabama was going to the Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and Sugar Bowl testing their mettle...
Lets make this clear, OU has won 7 NC in their history
1950, 1955, 1956, 1974,1975, 1985, 2000.
1950- they lost to Kentucky
1955- OU played Maryland
1956- OU did not go to a bowl, and the average record for their opponents was 3-6-1
1974- OU did not go to a bowl, and had to wait until Alabama lost their bowl game to be able to claim the NC
1975- OU played in a bowl
1985- OU played in a bowl
2000- OU played in a bowl
So, out of the 7, OU played in a bowl 5 times and lost one
Compared this with Alabama's 16 National titles, that all their NC teams played in a bowl, and lost two......
You want to talk about SEC vs SEC in bowl games, great let us do that...
SEC vs SEC has happened 19 times (Georgia Tech was a member, and they played once).... This is out of 385 games.... of the original 10 (not counting GT's or Tulane's as they both left in the 60's) every team has a winning record in bowls but one (UK and they are 8-8)...
In fact, the only SEC teams that won National title without playing in a bowl game was Auburn, in 1957
Why did the SEC have to play other SEC teams? Well, the other conferences were chicken shite and afraid to play in bowls....... The SEC won in the Rose Bowl so many times, they shut out the SEC due to embarrassment (they went to PAC 10 vs Big 10 right after Alabama beat USC in the Rose Bowl)
Care to try again?

Are you really talking about somebody else's program having not legit championships? Lol. Seriously? Do I have to link a website to show you most of your titles are bullshite?

It’s true. There are two trips in the Big12 that college football fans see as a destination trip. After Texas and Oklahoma where would you be excited to go. TCU, West Virginia, and maybe OSU are the only others that would be attractive road games. Whereas the SEC West alone has 5 or 6 locations that opposing fans come in droves to visit.
Ask any Missouri or A&M fan how much better SEC sites are

Most pathetic excuse for a possible loss I’ve ever seen. Exactly what UGA players are expected to be out or not 100% A MONTH after their last game? We’ve got guys out too with season ending injuries. It’s part of the game. Move on.
