How because OU didn't cut it's nut's off in recruiting like Nebraska did by moving conferences.

Comes down to Oline, Arnold, and Veneables. It will be a boom or bust season. Potential is there but they all have ALOT to prove. I'm predicting a choke. Its the OU way!!

Schedule is a beast and its against new opponents...id say 9 wins or more buys a little more time for Venables...7 gets the seat hot.

Team is loaded with talent, but that might not equate to much, considering a brand-new offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, special teams coordinator, and quarterback. Oh, and offensive line. Also, brand new. I'm talking brand new as in - brand new. None of them called a snap last year or took a snap together as a team. Except in the bowl game, when the NFL guys and QB had already opted out or left.

I see this team sort of like Kirby's first year at UGA. Talented, but raw.

Coming to the SEC? What do you think?

Are you a betting man? If so, bet on mediocrity -- OU may be a step better than A&M but not by much more.

A&M ran through your league like shite through a goose, including on your home field.

You must be talking about their best year in 2012 when they had Manziel and went 6-2 in conference.

Still wasnt enough to win their division and get to Atlanta, but they did enjoy a 4 TD arse raping that they put on Big 12 champ Oklahoma in the cotton bowl as a consolation prize.

That's correct. The year they entered your league and ran through it like shite through a goose, like I said. After all that shite you talked to them both about "muh bigboy footballz". And then Mizzou followed suit in year 2 and 3.

Now-now......don't move the goalposts like a bitch. That's not what you clowns said would happen to them when they entered your mighty league. You were gonna steamroll them remember? Bigboy footballz!

You didn't steamroll either of them is what happened, and they weren't good when they left the BIG XII, so......

And I don't give a shite about the Cotton Bowl. We were not a good team who should've been 8-5 and relegated to the Spaghettio Bowl.

Cautiously optimistic, while understanding the SEC is a different animal.

Spring Game: we expected OL issues but was nicely surprised w/spring game results. Yes we have a good amount of NFL talent on D at most levels, but hard to gauge skill level because both the D and O formations & plays were super-vanilla. Unlike some of the more-frequent OU posters, I like to stay humble and grounded. That being said, I think our WR corps may be the best in the nation, definitely a top 5 unit. RB room is still a little fuzzy, will probably be shared-duty for the first few games. Placekicking may cost us a game or two, it's bad.

Lebby being replaced is a net positive. Y'all love Lebby for some reason. Maybe because he didn't have Kiffin's instruction, not sure, but his in-game decision making and situational awareness were just awful and directly led to a couple losses. Just could not effectively run the clock when necessary and insisted on high-risk plays when unnecessary.

I'd be happy with 9 wins.

Is Nebraska a couple hours from Dallas, and bring in top 10 or top 5 classes every year?

Man you can overcome almost anything in cfb but a brand new OL that haven’t played together or jelled has to be the toughest

It won't be easy but they aren't "brand new". They are all veterans who've played a lot of football.

We pretty much have to replace 2-3 OL every year anyway.
