They expect OSU to rout Texas.

If Corso is doing the whole season? It seems like the last regular season game (FSU vs Florida) would be a good send off.

The bigger games are almost always at noon on Fox.
So true. Big Noon Kickoff is always one of if not the top rated game that week. Then this happens.
Ohio General Assembly member authors bill to prevent state schools from playing home football games at noon
Now that is some real snowflake shite if there ever was.
Oh and please tell Sarkisian should Texas beat the Ohio State Snowflakes to tell his players ahead of time, "No flag planting!"
The bill to ban early kickoffs comes just months after a bill was introduced to ban flag-planting at a football stadium. That bill was spawned by Michigan’s flag-planting display following the Wolverines’ 13-10 win over the Buckeyes in 2024.

Shouldn't you be more concerned that Oklahoma hasn't won a National Title in 25 years, and less concerned about what other teams may or may not do ?
Did you know USC was a more prestigious job than Oklahoma prior to Riley leaving, or did it take him dumping you before the light bulb went on ?

This coming from a fan of a Big 10 school on an SEC board.

Sooners understand where OU ranks among the football elite. OU coaches know they have to do more with less.
Heck, OU annually plays a Texas team that outspends and outrecruits it but has somehow managed to be dead even with them record wise since WWII.
And here's a factoid for you, the Sooner who still holds the school single season record for interceptions has a stadium named after him . . . in Austin.
As for Riley, he is worthy of his own thread but here's the short version, yeah Sooner fans were not happy with him taking what he perceived to be a better job. The thing is it was not because he left but in how he left.
The 2021 season things were rolling along until the bye week when old Lincoln takes a trip to the West Coast for "recruiting purposes" except it wasn't future Sooners he was recruiting.
He comes back and OU promptly loses two of its next three games all because LR wasn't focused on coaching Oklahoma but on building the team at his new job which was announced the day after the season-ending loss to Okie State.
Anyway, if my posting about an upcoming game with another school or making light of a state legislature so thin skinned that it feels the need to "protect" a painted letter O from another school's victory celebration, maybe you are on the wrong board.

It's just classless to do. OSU beat OU by 3 TDs in a game that wasn't close after the first half. OU beats OSU by 2 TDs in a game that OSU was winning late in the 3rd quarter.
What's soft is Mayfield doing it in the first place. Just have more respect for the game and your opponent.

Ohio State is the trashiest and most classless fan base I’ve ever encountered, multiple times. I’m sure our admins wouldn’t agree to a night game after the way we were treated when we went up there. Would suit me fine to ghost the game and just mustard gas the whole stadium. Do humanity a favor.

Win the game and it doesn't happen. I say to the victor go the spoils but the spoils play on a loop in the weight room 24-7-365.

Yes. I think FOX has suggested that they have looked at the numbers and realize they get more viewership throughout the entire Saturday if they put their first choice game on in the first time slot. I’m not this type of viewer, but perhaps many neutral fans just park it in one channel once they started watching the premier game that day.
For that reason I can see why it makes sense for them - but it is unfortunate for fans of college football. Though again, being the road team here I’m not going to complain too much. I think hosting at night is worth another 2-3 points IMO.

Didn't cry we knew why he did it. More pissed the team let him create the situation to do it.
