If the Georgia D Line doesn't get to Stroud quick, it's over.

If UGA can shut down the Ohio run game, I don't doubt that the DL can break through the OL. We have done it all season.
If Ohio can average 3+ per rush attempt, that would probably be enough to slow down the pass rush opportunities to buy Stroud time.

Kirby Smart + Will Muschamp = Bad day for Ohio St.

Looks like you don’t watch your own team to me.. CJ can and will run when needed.

Georgias DBs have struggled down field not on short to intermediate routes. If he is sitting back there long enough to throw long passes he will get hit a lot.
The key will be their WRs winning their matchups quick to allow Stroud to throw deep without having to wait for the opening to develop.

35 ryshes for 74 yard. 2.1 YPC with a long of 44. Like I said, he's averse to running the ball. If he runs he immediately heads to the sideline to get out of bounds.
Bennett has 44 for 184 with a long of 64. In the Georgia games I've watched he seems like a person willing to run to get a first down.

I hope he doesn’t run. If he doesn’t do something to keep the D honest, it’s gonna get ugly in a hurry. You stay in the pocket against the dawgs and you gonna get killed.
UGA struggles with QBS that move latterly in the pocket and buy time for WRs to get bust routes off of scramble drills. UGA doesn’t struggle with first routes or option routes, there aren’t blown coverages… they get beat when they get lost once the Qb scrambles and keeps down field , a La Bryce Young. If CJ stays in the pocket, UGA will own him.
CJ highlights
This is what I’m talking about. UGA does not struggle with this.

It is an oversimplification to say that UGA DBs struggle with a vertical passing game.
The reality is that Malaki Starks and Christopher Smith have been one of the best safety tandems in college football all season.
Javon Bullard has been one of the best nickel defenders in college football all season.
Against LSU, we went into a prevent shell and poorly executed. Starks took a few bad angles. And he had eyes in the wrong spot on one of Nuss' scrambles.
He is a true freshman and it was an eye opener for dawg fans that he could have a bad game. He plays a ton of man coverage and has been lockdown all season.

I’ll be shocked if he runs or is part of the run game but stranger things have happened. Here’s to a good game.

If you're a Georgia fan and these bowl games aren't making you nervous, you are either in denial or not very intelligent.
Combined with the Big Ten being the only undefeated conference in Bowl games.

And if you are basing how we are gonna do tomorrow night based on results of said bowls, then that makes you a fricking moron.

I hope you are right, and they run up the ducking score. If we are dependent on those frickwards carrying the banner we are completely doomed

Anyone who bases how strong a conference is based on Bowl records doesn't know football. A lot of times it's about motivation (except in the NY6 and playoff games). This happens every year w/the same people.

And needless to say, Georgia hasn't faced an offense like Ohio State (even with Ohio State missing key starters).
Ummm… they played the #1 team in the country is total offense (UT).

Have you looked at how many points your conferences defenses have been giving up in bowl games?
I don’t expect Ohio State to win but SEC defenses thus far have been terrible.

So did the team that lost to App State. Still, I think Georgia is going to overwhelm them at the LOS.

What do bowl games have to do with regular season offensive rankings?
The conference has been top-heavy this year, more than usual. But saying they haven’t seen anything like OSU’s offense when they’ve played the statistically most productive offense in all of football is a joke.
