Ok I gotta say something here. And it's in defense of Aggies.
Remember when that school in Canyon, TX wanted to get Aggie rings?
The problem with A&M is - they have several SUBPAR satellite schools that are dying to call themselves Aggies. They embarrass the real A&M with crap like you see posted on here.
These are people that are the bottom of the bottom and likely have no place in a classroom beyond high school. No bad people, just simple plebes that want to claim to be associated with Texas A&M.
Yes, UT has satellite schools too, but they are typically regarded a few notches above the A&M family. UT-Arlington, UTSA, UTEP, UT-Tyler. all fairly competitive. It's the A&M wannabes that get these Jethros that do stuff like this and claim to be Aggies.
And frankly, I do think *the* A&M made a wrong move going over 50k students in CS. But not my circus, not my monkeys.

Started off with a considerably smaller alumni base historically. Can always restrict the numbers down the road if so desired.
