Ultimately is LSUs OLine ready to spread the field and will LSU dramatically change their offense in one season

Go to the Rant and find the Joe Brady posts ;-). He is our new passing game coordinator we brought over from the Saints who plans to do just that.

I hope LSU doesn't embarrass the SEC by losing to Texas.

This is the only thing you've said worthwhile in all of your 1,000 plus of sucky posts.

College Football isn't like the NFL.

Changes take place slower because of roster limitations
NFL you have practice squad players and free agents.
You can change very quickly.

The entire offense has to change from the OLine to the RBs.
I think Emery fits. You can do a lot of vertical spread with Emery.

Ultimately everything is on the QB.

Brady can't change LSU overnight and the issue will be how much of his offense does LSU use and how does that effect other areas of the game.

Running downhill out of a shotgun 4 WR set isn't as easy as some think.

Lsu won't score 34, will lucky to break 20 points. Will be a defensive struggle.

Conferences don't determine anything teams do.

Stop riding the coattails.
Especially since you sucked in the BDF as well.

being you mentioned specifically LSU's advantage at corner you then also, need to mention the tigers advantage at safety.

You’re wrong here. We have two studs at safety- Brandon Jones and Caden Sterns are both future NFL players. By far the strength of a defense that completely shut down UGAs pass attack (Sterns didn’t even play that game).

We have had lights out secondary recruiting the last couple of years and, while our our cornerbacks/ nickel might be relatively green, they are tremendous athletes.

D line should also be fine. Where we could have a potential hole is at linebacker, especially if Coach O plays ground and pound- Gary Johnson leaving hurts.

I think it will be close. The confidence of the LSU posters on here is obvious. Gonna be a great day in Austin.

Is his rehabbing going well? I know he tore his knee up pretty good towards the end of the year. He’s one guy I wish LSU would have kept, but it’s worked out for the kid.

Its not gonna matter what we do on offense (we will do pretty well). LSU's defense will dominate the Texas Offense from start to finish. I envision at least 1 defensive/special teams TD, maybe 2.

I saw the LSU defense on the road in person last year. Wasn’t all that impressed outside of devin white.

This is a tough one as I have said before.

If LSU shows up and just puts its thang down and muscles Texas up front they win going away. They will beat a fairly soft Texas team that has had problems dealing with physical teams other then Georgia who sleep walked through their bowl game.

If LSU goes all in on throwing the ball every down and we're going to be high octane and exciting... then Texas hangs around and has a legit shot of knocking off the Bayou Bengals.

The Texas D is pretty horrific but they do know how to defend against that type of offense. If you play to their strengths then... God help us all... the Longhorns can absolutely win this game.

You must live under a rock. Grant Delpit is the best safety in the country and Jacoby Stevens is a versatile playmaker in his own right. Im guessing Eric Monroe will also see the field often for the tigers. Hes largely unproven but will be a very solid player.

I dont think this game will be close just as I did not think the Miami game would be close last year. Texas is almost in the same position as Miami was before last season. Coming off a big bowl win and they're best season in years. Theres a lot of hype, but just like Miami, yall are not there yet. LSU's athletes will prove to be too much to handle in a one sided affair.

Miami lost to Virginia and Duke last year and finished 7-6. LSU did not beat a good team.
