On this wonderful Easter Day Lord we are reminded of the humble Tim Tebow. A true follower of Christ and a leader. Not of a player who wears explicit hats, participates in explicit songs around young children and does not represent your good ways.
Amen
John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

Tebow did it at a high level for 4 years. Joe only 1.
I wonder how many ppl that would use this argument have voted for Cam Newton throughout this.

I'd take Burrow over Tebow, but it's a terrible final matchup.

Neither of them really belong in the discussion.

Cam also didn't have any down years. He got booted from UF after his True FR year. Went to Blinn and won a JUCO NC. Went to Auburn and won a NC and Heisman. Went to the NFL and was rookie of the year, has been to 3 x Pro Bowls, and was league MVP. Injuries and surgery have slowed him down, but he turned the Panthers around.
Joe had an INCREDIBLE year. But, his total resume and Cam's are not the same. The one year in FBS stat is similar but different when looking at total body of work, IMO.
I like nothing about Newton for any variety of reasons, but he is more than a one year wonder. I think Burrow will prove to be the same. He just had a slower road to glory

Also the "65 TDs" people realize that Tebow put up 55 total TDs in 13 games in his sophomore season, right?
Burrow is definitely deserving of being in the discussion but him winning over Tebow is definitely a combo of recency bias, LSU board imbalance, and holding Tebow's pro career against him.

Best SEC qb of all time.
Blinn and the NFL don't count.
