Ole Miss is about to sign it's second consecutive bottom-three class in the SEC.

They are going to have probably a half-dozen kids or more transfer.

But when y'all average 3-8 over the next handful of years I'm sure y'all will point to the 'crippling' sanctions as a reason why

Y'all said OM would be a 3 win team this year. They went 6-6 with close losses to Cal, A&M, and Arkansas. Heck they could have gone 8-4 or 9-3 if they win 2 or all 3 of those.

I'll admit, I thought Ole Miss would be a 5-7 team this year. I was wrong.

However, you're beating your chest about "could have gone 8-4" in a year when the sanctions HAVEN'T EVEN HIT YET

That's only partly true. The actual sanctions may not have hit but their weight was felt in recruiting for at least the last two years.

The uselessness of the NCAA never ceases to amaze me.

Failed to do anything about Scam Newton
North Carolina had fake classes, and they said NBD
Penn State knowingly harbored a serial child rapist, and the NCAA came back and said they were too hard on poor ol Rape State.
Ole Miss basically rubbed the NCAA's nose in shite, over and over and over again, the NCAA gave them a slap on the wrist.

Bowl bans, probation, scholly reductions, show causes, vacating wins, etc...= slap on the wrist

Serial child rape.

Sorry they might have to transfer because the dirt bags that ran the place harbored a serial child rapist.

I thinks he's asking what that has to do with the NCAA?

Same thing with UNC. NCarolina's argument was that the NCAA had no jurisdiction over the thing that UNC had admitted to doing

It was all done so the football team could be successful.

If the football program can compel the university to allow shite that rotten to go on, then the university obviously can't handle a football program.

No argument from me. I thought Penn State would do the right thing and shut the program down themselves, but football is more important I guess

Ole Miss will definitely have some attrition problems for the next few years.

Well that and OM coaches better be spot ON with their high school/juco talent evaluations.

There's zero room for error or taking a chance on an unknown athlete, if a few don't pan out the program will suffer even more.

Be willing to bet few if any contributors actually leave. Too much hassle and they WILL have to sit out unless they are seniors. Can’t think but maybe 2 or so are even desirable. Most are juniors

I think someone used them an example of the impotence of the NCAA

Didn’t know that was NCAA related.

If criminal acts are NCAA violations now every team is going to be on probation

I got a little melty because I wanted Ole Miss to get hit harder.

I apologize.

This is Ole Miss's day. Not Penn State's day.

Let's stay on topic, gang!
