Oh, right. UGA thinks good academics are something to be embarrassed of in the GT rivalry, but something to be proud of in the AU one.

we prefer a good balance. GT is a great school, Georgia is a pretty good school, Auburn is a cow college ya know?

I just think that the SECr needs a PSA explaining the academic "dominance" UGA has over other schools...

Any lobotomy patient can get into Gainesville State or Athens Tech and make the leap to UGA after 2 years.

There...and yes i agree. But then again, other than IVY league schools, most college degrees are just ways to get you in the door. Most differences i see b/w Tech and UGA are the focus of what you want to do. The "better academic school" rankings are stupid IMO.

it's taking everything I have not to spar with you on this, full-scale. But let's save it for 2 weeks from now

Copy and paste it then if you'd like

ETA: Did you know your flagship school, Terry College of Business, is rated behind GT's College of Management for both grad and undergrad?

For real I'm done

If you can't tell, that picture is photoshopped. Just like the fat lizard-eating woman that other fans love to post is probably a Bama fan in disguise. Keep posting all the trash talk you want, but at least make sure what you post is legit.

I'm not going to talk about Academics on this board considering it's a waste of time comparing two schools in terms of scholarship...People are going to rank schools however they like whether it be Forbes, Time, Bizweek etc. I got a degree from UGA, you got a degree from somewhere else. What we do with those degrees is much more important than some arbitrary ranking. I've spoken with plenty of hiring managers that say having a degree gets you an interview, that's it, so in two weeks, if you wanna bring up the "my college is rated better than your college", you can hang your hat on that. I'll hang mine on the fact that it's about to be 11/12 years that we take you to pound town.

ETA: You're right...two weeks it is.

I went to High School with kids who went to Southern Poly or Chattahoochee Tech and transferred to Tech...granted, a lot of kids go to Gainesville and transfer over, but it still happens at both schools.
