Wan't the whole adoption thing just a reason to get him out of Florence High's crappy football program and into Russellville's?

The thing with the "they signed 3 RB's thing", is that the premise before it was that "it would be me, Dyer, and a Walk On"

Where's McCaleb? Eric Smith wasn't kicked off the team yet, was he no longer a RB?

I've wonder the same thing. Because Doug Goodwin was known for "recruting" young HS talent in his area to his school when he was at Demopolis. The other coaches in the area hated him for it.

Phillip Lolley had a stint at Demopolis HS too, a long time ago. Lolley works for Chizik now doesn't he? And, he recruited Calloway too.

Explain the connection you're making here for me, as it's getting late in the day and I need a beer. Phillip Lolley has been at Auburn for almost 12 years now.

Landrum, who is a LB, and Bray, who is a slot receiver, were both already committed when BC chose AU, IIRC.

Chris Landrum was a running back in high school and...

The tree story wouldn't have come out if a certain Bama fan had not bragged about it a fricking radio show.

Auburn officials knew about the trees a few weeks before it was reported. AU waited until the story broke about the NCAA interviewing Trovon Reed and Greg Robinson about the street agent thing in Louisiana.

Now it seems that the HBO 5 story won't go away, so a big-time AU writer and alumnus breaks a story about the Brent Calloway recruitment.

I have no problems sleeping, thank you very much.

Are you the person who said she because a fan of Auburn because you were pissed off at your family?

And Uzomah was a quarterback in high school, but he's not slated for one at Auburn. It's been explained to you already that Quan is slated as a receiver and Landrum as a LB.

Alabama and other programs used the threat of Cam Newton gate that Auburn was just waiting to go on probation and that didn't hurt recruiting.

It's gotta make a young kid think twice before making any public decisions about signing on with AU.

Without a doubt. Say no to Auburn and an army full of insecure Aubs with little man syndrome will trash your name and family.

Just coincidence I'm sure - the coaching fraternity in the state of Alabama is a broad one.

But for Doug & Dustin Goodwin to coach and play at Demopolis HS (a poedunk little town in West AL) and Phillip Lolley to have coached there too, albeit many yrs ago - and now both of the Goodwin's are in the same schandal and rumors alledged by Jeff Lee and Lolley recruited the kid for AU.

Just a tangled little web of coaching.

What does HS position have to do with BC playing RB in college? Also, you failed to address the part about them already being committed before BC switched. His story on the RB thing sounds like a line he was fed during his switch back to Bama. I have no idea if true or not, but I know the story he is telling now is either incomplete or untrue (as it relates to that small part of it).

I would have thought Bray would be groomed to take over McCalebb's, for a lack of a better term, "Slotback" position.

Either way, Calloway wouldn't have been competing against him...

Kinda like the line he was fed about Saban going the Dallas?

I wasn't pissed of at them per se. I was forced to be an Alabama fan. I rebelled and became an Auburn fan. It apparently stuck

What does that have to do with anything?
