Was Cochran's shelf life 12 years, precisely when he left bama, or did saban keep him on after his shelf life expired?

Cochran felt he needed to move on and Kirby gave him a position he wanted that Coach Saban wasn't willing to provide. I'm sure he will do a great job for your special teams, and Kirby will teach him the recruiting ropes.

The fact that Scott and CKS were/are real good friends and running buddies a few years back. When CKS went to the Dawgs SC needed 2 years to become tenured in the state of Alabama,so yes it was about retirement at the time.CSC and CKS are close friends.

Hearing that some of the programs they've turned down included Ohio St., LSU, UGA and Texas.

No word on the NFL teams. Will update when I hear something.

Nice fallback after getting turned down by Feld, I guess. Indiana is known for their football prowess

Remember the WSJ story about LSU's new hire of an outfit that made advances electronically that helped their off field training tremendously last year?

So Saban is playing catch up?

LSU already made this move with current personnel.

Congrats but I don't recall the OP mention LSU. Why does some LSU fans feel the need to compare programs? LSU is nowhere near our level yet so quit comparing and just be happy with y'alls great season last year.

Laugh all you want but you know that some LSU fans on here compare what LSU does vs what Bama does. Just be happy that y'all have a great program.

And yet OP is a Bama fan comparing Alabama to LSU. Stop projecting your fanbase’s insecurities to us

He mentioned LSU once and that was to give y'all props for basically being ahead of the game.

Weird you got mad at an LSU fan for comparing but not one of your own

First of all, I didn't know that he was a Bama fan because he doesn't have a logo by his name. Secondly, he listed LSU in a good light, he wasn't trying to say that Bama done something before LSU. I'm not mad at anyone. I just don't think anyone should try to compare programs to one another all the time.

Almost as sad as taking a loss at home with your GOAT quarterback and 4 future NFL receivers.

But not near as sad as losing 8 in a row and being shutout three times by YOUR biggest rival.

It was a response to L8U, and yes it’s very sad

It's sad that they dwell on a one game winning streak so much, I think Alabamas streak was at 5 or 6 before it was a thing

To be fair, if they had to wait for that many they'd never get to do it.

Ballou coached Dylan Moses at IMG Academy.

Dylan is ecstatic.
