Top 4 is all that matters. Not one iota of difference between #1 and #4. Those of us who have been to and won the playoff understand how this works.

You would have to think so, although bama is still better

I agree. If we make it that far...OU is the team that could possibly take us down through there. Clemson is the walking dead, somebody is going to knock them off. I'm not really sold on Miami or Wisconsin.

That’s funny, IMO. Alabama is the one time I don’t want to see if Oklahoma gets that far. Offensively, I think both are equally sound. Defensively, well, OU can’t find a consistency.

This entire topic is pointless to Alabama fans. If we win, we're playoff bound...it's as simple as that.

Yea, sure. I really don't care. In fact, I would prefer that we aren't number one. In 2014 we were number one and lost and last year. I want that sweet number 2 spot because that worked for us in 2015.

is there anyone Bama fans don't want to play?

I don't think I would worry about one team more than another if I was them

As a fan, I do my best (though sometimes fail) to try and focus on the next game, regardless if it is a "gimme" - like Mercer - or not. We play who we play.

I think, if anything, playing Clemson might be a bit "been there, done that". We won the first one, they won the second. Not sure if I'm super interested in playing them again. Wisconsin, of all the playoff teams, looks like the "easiest" game but I could easily be wrong. Clemson lost to Pitt last year and finished the season looking like world beaters.

I'd love to play someone we haven't played in a while, or never at all (though I don't think anyone who is a serious contender would be a new opponent for us).

While I would hate to lose the Iron Bowl, if the scenario played out that the SEC got two teams into the playoffs and seeing the melt would be glorious. That said, no way that happens. The West, while still good, wasn't nearly as strong this year and FSU, which was supposed to be a top flight marquee OOC game for us, flopped spectacularly. It's not like Alabama didn't TRY to schedule a really good OOC opponent, but them's the breaks.

I like interesting games, not necessarily easy ones. Of course, my ulcer would beg to differ.

Depends on perspective, I suppose... I would have no issue if Miami were ranked ahead of BAMA at this point... I think Clemson will beat them in the ACC Champ Game, regardless...

I guess you could "objectively" say Wisconsin deserves to be top 3 as well...

I wouldn't put us number one. Injuries or not we just haven't looked like the number one team.
