For the record, saying this shows that you haven't watched him play a snap and are talking out of your arse.

3 of those incompletions were perfect passes that the receiver just dropped.

You'll know more about Mr. Etling soon enough though

I watched the video, he really doesn't look that great. I mean, he's better than Harris but my 12 year old daughter can probably make better decisions than Harris and maybe throw the ball better.

He isn't anywhere near what Mettenberger was though.

Mett >> Danny Etling > bbvdd's daughter >>> BHarris

This is pretty reasonable, actually.

all I can say is that he made me happy and I am glad he got to give it a go - I think he made the most of his chance why as a Tiger would you not want me to be a little excited about what I saw Of course I want to see more and see what the future holds for Danny !!!!!

Most of the Rantards are looking at the stat line. What they don't see is the first time since Fournette has been at LSU that we were able to execute a diverse offensive play scheme which should be able to respond to other teams loading the box on LF. Some of those plays could have gone for long yards or TD's against some of the defenses we have lined up against with LF on the field...

truth is he was a perfect 14/14 for three should-have-been touchdowns because the receivers did not receive the ball when they theoretically could have

LSUs pumper community's ever growing collective bird-chirping and excuse making on the way to becoming gospel. Soon there will be a new stat line on ESPN CFB scoreboards. It will read as follows:

1. Pass Attempts:
2. Completions;
3. Passes that should have been caught.
4. Passes that could have been caught.
5. Interceptions
6. Interceptions that shouldn't have been INTs if the receiver had done what he is supposed to do. This only applies to LSU, not to any other team.

It'd be one thing if Dupre ran the wrong routes or wasn't in position due to footwork, but his drops were 100% his fault, not Craig's. Hit him in the hands while he was staring directly at the ball.

Don't worry us AU fans went through the same reasoning

Totally brah!

I think it's pretty fair to say an incompletion wasn't a quarterbacks fault if he threw a perfect pass and it hit the receiver in the hands.

That's like blaming a quarterback for getting sacked after he gets blindsided because his left tackle missed a block.

Moron.

OMG, I was poking fun at LSU fans for always moving the goalposts to make all of their players seem like superstars and first-round NFL draft picks.

And suddenly here comes a big-mouth catfish rising up from the slimy depths to declare that the entire way QB passing statistics are kept in HS, NCAA, and NFL is wrong... and that completion percentage should be changed to take into account passes that should have been caught. All so that they can say that Danny-boy is really good, just with bad stats.

And the more thoughtful and football-knowledgable LSU fans wonder why their fan base is made fun of.

You wanna know how I know that you didn't watch the game? You're posting his stat line... Yeah... 6/14 You didn't see the drops. All you saw was stats. Danny Etling is 10x the QB Brandon Harris could ever dream to be. I also think he's better than Mettenberger, Lee, and Jefferson.

Its as if the Tigers of the SEC West swapped fans. Or WR coaches.

The Dirty Dan Pain Train is coming. This is just the calm before the storm. I sense a hell of a lot of fear coming through my screen in this thread.
