I'm buying stock in the Etling Gun. He has some gunslinger in him.

See you in Atlanta, LSU.

We really shouldn't be bragging about DE but, that's what happens when your offense has been in remission for the better half of two years now.

Even the slightest semblance of a passing attack gets us rock hard.

You wanna know how I know that you didn't watch the game? You're posting his stat line...

Yeah... 6/14

You didn't see the drops. All you saw was stats. Danny Etling is 10x the QB Brandon Harris could ever dream to be. I also think he's better than Mettenberger, Lee, and Jefferson.

You. Don't. Understand.

So you're telling me your WRs can't catch. Great to know.

all I can say is that he made me happy and I am glad he got to give it a go - I think he made the most of his chance

why as a Tiger would you not want me to be a little excited about what I saw

Of course I want to see more and see what the future holds for Danny !!!!!

6-14 in three quarters without Buga... Not trying to say this guy is the real deal in the slightest, but when you add your Heisman candidate RB back into the offense it may open things up for you quite a bit.

But then again let's talk about South Alabama......

Why do LSU fans do this to themselves?

2 of those passes (maybe 3) should have been caught IMO. 8/14 still isn't great, but to come off the bench and be serviceable is ok in my book. I will reserve judgment until I watch his performance this weekend (If Les plays him), but he is definitely better than what we have been seeing from the QB position.

You act like Harris didn't have to deal with three drops in his first game, and was playing against a significantly better team. You guys will do anything to hype up the slightest spark of passing, but he's not going to do any better than Harris and it's going to be sad to see all the LSU fans realize that.

Moves better in the pocket and checks down more so than Harris. Knows how to run with it when he needs to. But he does seem to chunk it down field more often than he should.

Hope to see him improve this week
