The 90's sucked to be an LSU football fan.

I would have thought the 70's and early 80's when
Bama beat them 11 in a row.

The "Bab's Years" and the hangover from it.

Bab's: Chancellor Barbara Uehling hated sports and cut sport budgets through the bone. She wanted Mizzou to be the Harvard of the Midwest.

And I believe one of 3 or 4 nationally with us, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Boise State ???
We also have been to a bowl game 19 straight years, winning 12, and had 12 double-digit win seasons (never winning less than 8 games.) No one else has done that

Hmm. Yet in those two highlighted seasons Auburn beat Georgia in Athens. Carry on.

Not totally true. We did manage to win 26 games and 3 straight bowl wins in 1995, 1996 and 1997, including 10 wins in 1996 and wins at Alabama (27-0) and home vs #1 Florida in (28-21) in 1997.

Damn, LSU was worse than us in the 90s? Didn’t think that was possible.

There was a plane crash in 1980. Sent LSU’s program into a nosedive along with it. Took 20 years to fully recover from that.

Sorta shocked that Arkansas is ranked where they are. Figured they would be below Ole Miss.

Our program nose-dived in 1990. When we joined the SEC in '92, we were tied with Georgia for #2 with 2 losses. Here's the info given by the OP, but only with the years before '92.

Alabama 1 1984
Arkansas 2 1967, 1990
Georgia 2 1977, 1990
Florida 3 1971, 1978, 1979
Tennessee 3 1977, 1980, 1988
LSU 6 1975, 1981, 1983, 1989, 1990, 1991
Auburn 7 1966, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1980, 1981, 1991
Texas A&M 9 1966, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1980, 1982
South Carolina 11 1966, 1968, 1970, 1972, 1974, 1977, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1991
Missouri 11 1970, 1971, 1977, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991
Ole Miss 13 1974, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1991
Mississippi State 17 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1977, 1979, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990

LSU was horrible back in the 90’s.

If you take out the 90’s, they only have 4 losing seasons.
