Sounds to like wade knows they don’t have shite in him.

Can you explain this line of thought in any logical way?

Forced to add this language is a straight up admission of guilt, with a side of "Please, God, don't let my tapes get entered into the official court record".

quote:

LSU can fire Wade for cause if he is found to have committed Level I or Level II NCAA violations, or if the NCAA infractions committee issues a formal notice of Level 1 or Level 2 violations to LSU involving the coach. Wade also agreed to waive the $250,000 in performance bonuses he contractually earned in 2018–19 and agreed not to sue the school if he were fired over NCAA violations.

The only person leaking info on Will is a scared John Calipari.

Is this patently stupid idea really considered serious by Tigers fans? Forgetting the absurdity that Cal gives two poops about Wade, what the hell would he leak and to whom?

If the "report" is true, Wade accepted amendments to his contract that would make it easier to fire him for cause and, in addition, give concessions to a quarter of a million dollars in bonuses.

Does this, if true, sound like a man that holds the upper hand?

I know when someone takes probation over going to trial I don't think "He obviously knows he's innocent". That doesn't make any sense. It doesn't necessarily mean anything but it would more point the other way. There is no added risk here if he's guilty. Because guilty already means not coaching at all/losing his contract. On the other hand if you know you're innocent you are more likely to fight it entirely and make no deals

Repeating yourself doesn’t make it true.

He’s betting millions of dollars that he won’t receive any violations. If I knew I was guilty I wouldn’t agree to that. If I knew I was innocent I would.

One day you fools will realize I’m undefeated in arguments. Twice I’ve had to dismantle an opponent today. I’m more than just hilarious gifs and witty comebacks. I’m the total internet warrior package.

and because he does - he knows he had to accept whatever scraps LSU's lawyers were willing to allow him in order to save his job and what little reputation he currently has.

LSU bent him over a barrel legally with this amended contract and took his bonus money in the process. if he knew he was clean he/his representation would have NEVER let $250K in bonuses be taken off the table.

y'all should be grateful your administration had the balls to put him in check and put the reputation of the university/program above a rogue coach.

If you're correct, it sounds like a man that knows, but doesn't like, the full story.

I, personally, don't give contract concessions and forgo a quarter million dollars if I'm confident in my actions or the outcome.

Will walked into the SEC and in year 1 took a player that Cal wasted years recruiting. Then Will took a better team into Rupp, won, and brought home the SEC championship in year 2. But Cal doesn’t care about Will Wade? I’m not convinced.

Cal doesn't give two shits about Wade. Took 1 guy Cal was recruiting? Coach K took 3 guys he was recruiting. You think Cal is up nights because LSU won a regular season game?

Because his alternative was what? If he doesn't do it then it's an admission of guilt. Now all he can do is pray nothing goes further and still get paid in the meantime.

It's like when you take a piss test at work, you know you are going to fail, but you pretend like everything is OK and pray shite gets mixed up.

No, the trial didn't say that Alabama was paying players. A want to be agent said he was paying players. You can't even talk bad about Alabama properly idiot. What coach or associate of Alabama is accused of paying players?

This tells me that’s he’s so confident that they have nothing on him, he agreed to it..
