Now that Saban is gone, how would rank the top 5 coaches in the SEC?

1. Kirby no brainer
2. Drinkwitz - IMO he may be best coach in league
3. CBK
4. Kiffin
5. Stoops or Heupel

I think after this coming season, Freeze is going to be the top 5.

Kirby - back2back natties
DeBoer - Natty runner up, 2-0 vs Sark
Sark - Only SEC coach to beat Saban in TTown
Kiffin - only losses were to Saban and Kirby
Drink - only losses were to Kirby and CBK

CBK outside looking in

Only two coaches have won a CFP game in this conference. They are Kirby Smart and Kalen DeBoer.

Kalen DeBoer hasn't coached at his current school yet therefore any ranking of him is theoretical, at best.

It's only counting wins at current job.

He’s an active SEC head coach. He coached the games for his team. It’s mathematical, not theoretical. Does it matter if he coached against Sark at UW, arguably a worse situation than the one he’s stepping into?

Well, that’s silly. I think everybody expected Saban and even Kelly to do well when hired because of success at previous stops. Why would you exclude a coach’s entire career when evaluating him against his peers.

Who is doing more with less? Drink and Kiffin are the two best.

I feel like Kelly was treading water until now. He finally saw he had to have a staff full of Louisiana and southern guys to win. He's doing that now and now I believe he's a threat to win some shite.
