“Some of our fans aren’t shy to voice their displeasure to them personally in our own park, and that makes it difficult for them,” Holbrook said. “You have to have tough skin. You have to believe in yourself. You have to let it go in one ear and out the other. It’s a lot easier for adults to let that happen than it is kids."
Connolly went for the shock value with his tweet. Holbrook should have kept his mouth shut outside of saying he hoped every Gamecock fan in the park could find a way to get behind these kids.
maybe Chad would care to speak why USC is 80/55 in runs scored/allowed through 15 SEC games yet just 1 game over .500 in league play.

Well this is year five for him. He took over a program that was coming off 2 titles and a runner up finish the prior three years. Fairly or not, he had some reservations against him to start with because he was given the job without the experience as a head coach by his buddy Ray Tanner.
Since he took over we have no SEC titles. We have not won a single game in Hoover despite having been there all four years. We have fallen behind Clemson which Tanner had owned. We have been embarrassed by football scores against North Carolina in back to back years, as well as blowing a SR to them Holbrook's first year. We've missed the tournament entirely one year, we've lost a home regional another year, and we lost a home SR last year. We have not yet made it to Omaha. This year's team, while very talented, seems to be a ship without a rudder. Holbrook took over one of top programs in the country, if not the top program at that time. The results have not matched the expectations for him and our program, and he should be on the hot seat.

Worst thing tanner did was promote from within.
LSU learned that lesson with Laval.
It's hard replacing the legend like Tanner.
He should have done a national search coming off two titles and found a sitting head coach.
