Can LSU fans shite on this hire if Brian Kelly wanted him too?

But I have no idea if it’s a good hire or not. Notre Dame wasn’t explosive but not a disaster either.

Sounds like Bama is headed back to the ground and pound philosophy

Which is fine. But then you absolutely have to nail the DC hire.

yes it worked for bama ..passing didnt..worked for ga...ground pound and play action. passing...slows game less possessions for opponents..less possessions less chances to find a rhythm

Well Notre Dame fans wanted him gone nearly the entire year this year. I’m just saying.

Brian Kelly has a bigger hold on his offense like Saban does his defense

This was the first year of Rees being on his own

Notre Dame fans seem to hate this dude worse than Brian Kelly.

He's younger than Stetson Bennett.

The guy who was able to muster up 21 points in a loss to Marshall, by the way.

Regardless. It’s just an interview. No one has been correct about either coordinator search.

Of course we can!

Who the hell knows. CBK wanted him at LSU but the fans didn’t.

Notre Dame was alright on offense last season but he’ll have 20x the talent on offense the Irish had

Then again, he’ll be running Saban’s system so

No doubt, I don't think he'll be the hire.

I was glad he didn't come to LSU.

LSU fans definitely did not want Rees when that name came up.

To be fair though, he was just a kid who got promoted by Kelly to be OC at ND when he was like 28 years old. Kelly was definitely a mainstay in that offense when he was at ND with Rees without a doubt.

It’s a crap shoot with any hire. Fans didn’t want Sarkisian in 2019 because of his playing calling with the Falcons.

Definitely.

This seems pretty underwhelming but Rees also hasn't had a ton of skill talent to work with.

Just seems like a big "risk" when Alabama could clearly get someone more proven.
