Well I did research and GT is 49-26 against Clemson. So no I'm not willing to say SC gets a tougher game almost every year.

Likewise. May dabo's tears irrigate the southeast region.

In terms of total wins and winning percentage, they're pretty close to even. Technically, GT does lead Clemson in both categories, but not by much. But Clemson is currently a better program, I'd say.
gt has won 78 games in 10 years, CU has won 82, pretty even...

Looks like gt is the equal or the better program over any time frame in the last 10 years. And you don't know how hard it is for me to knight for the nerds, but facts are facts...

Notre Dame vs Georgia and Georgia Tech
Georgia : 0-1-0 : Lost 81' Sugar Bowl by 7 points
Georgia Tech : 27-6-1 : split last 2 games
With the ACC deal you would think the Irish would push to play Georgia Tech for exposure in GA except would not reach recruits in most of the state as Dawgs own GA. Asking for the game with UGA makes the Irish look better for scheduling a SEC school but UGA would embarrass them badly. Better to start off with Vandy and see if they can beat the Dores before taking on the Dawgs.
Irish vs the SEC - BOLD years denote bowl games and underline denotes SEC win
(10) Louisiana State : 70', 71', 81', 84', 85', 86', 97', 97', 98', and 07'
(8) Tennessee : 78', 79', 90', 91', 99', 01', 04', and 05'
(7) Alabama : 73', 75', 76', 80', 86', 87', and 13'
(5) Texas A&M : 88', 93', 94', 00', and 01'
(4) Missouri : 70', 72', 78', and 84' / South Carolina : 76', 79', 83', and 84'
(2) Ole Miss : 77' and 85' / Vanderbilt : 95' and 96'
(1) Florida 92', Georgia 81',
(0) Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, and Mississippi State
Considering Notre Dame never played a current SEC team prior to 1970 and their only reason for playing UGA is their losing record against them why reward the Irish with a game?

Georgia Tech's recruiting has gotten so bad, yesterday they put out a video, #7 in part of a series, and it specifically targets walk-ons at other big time schools to come get a scholarship at Tech.
It also tries to convince kids who DID get DII scholarships to walk away from those scholarships to come walk-on at Tech and compete for a scholarship.

Facts are facts, no denying them. But I did say "currently." Over the last 3 years, GT is 6-7, 8-5, 7-7, and 1-2 vs Clemson. They lost to MTSU 49-28 last year and won the Coastal Division only because it sucked so much arse it would have taken a miracle for a high school team not to win it. Clemson is 6-7 (they both sucked that year), 10-4, and 11-2 in the same span. I think the trajectory for the Other Tigers of the Fake Death Valley is going in a different direction from the Wrecks currently.

I agree tech sucks & is only getting worse & I couldn't be happier...

Hopefully you have a miserable year watching a much improved Tech defense turning our team around.

Evidently ... of all the teams in the SEC, Notre Dame sees Georgia as the most beatable.

I think Kelly wanted to say South Carolina but realized no one would care if he beat them

pretty sure ND can handle any SEC team except Bama, LSU & maybe UGA
I'd take that bet.

I really think it is Notre Dame ego and the Irish are hurt having an SEC team with a winning record against them.
