Well they let him kill people and the players rape coeds and settled the matters and covered them up so what are they bitching about now.

I honestly feel BK is the same coach he was at ND, at LSU. Even LSU fans are not giving him slack this year, it’s playoffs or bust. And the thought of one of their rivals in the playoffs, like an Ole Miss, will pour gasoline on the ember under Kelly’s seat.

and lost to Ole miss with a Heisman qb because he absolutely screwed up with his defensive hires. This is fact. Something you can't refute. The team has gotten worse since his arrival. Another fact you can't refute.

LOL, you were most likely one of the ones who said they got in because it was Notre Dame. LSU would have smoked Notre Dame in that natty game.

One of the worst takes I've ever seen on this forum. They played in the Natty. BK was humping his realtor. You should be embarrassed.

Better than what Kalen DeBose has done at Bama so far

Kelly has never won anything. He's not even won a major bowl game. I don't know why some people think he is this great coach. He is not.

This response got some downvotes, but it's the truth. Georgia in the bowl game is like Texas baseball at the end of the season- a huge key injury that significantly lessened the team's prospects. And as was pointed out, this UGA team wasn't to the standards of previous ones to begin with.

Are we just going to casually ignore and sweep under the rug all of Notre Dame’s key injuries?

Besides, I read and heard so many Georgia fans after the SEC Championship that the loss of Beck was actually a positive and that Stockton gave them a better chance. Then, after the game, they used Beck (who was suspect all year) as a crutch.

Notre Dame was objectively more physical and athletic than Georgia.

Fact is BK got worse in year 3. He hasn't made the playoffs. He makes a ton of excuses. Hasn't won an opener. And the list goes on.

So no HC has ever taken a step back before moving forward??

How many SEC teams have consistently made the CFP in the BK era and which "power house" teams have not?

Georgia has been consistent. Texas joins the SEC and goes to the playoffs. Bama had been consistent until Saban retired. LSU is the one missing. Nothing with BK.

Defend him all you want but he wasted a Heisman winner by having maybe the worst defense in LSU history. Comes to LSU and makes defensive fires and hires and it blew up in his face. < That is a fact.

Fans that are in a wait and see mode, I understand. Fans that think he's been good, I don't know what to tell ya. He had some really bad losses last season.

This offseason, LSU Head Coach Brian Kelly talked glowingly about the results he's had in his third year at programs noting that he has gone a combined 33-5 in his third seasons at Notre Dame, Cincinatti, and Central Michigan. He told the fans multiple times to judge him by his results in year three and that's starting to seem like a massive mistake.

YES! He did say judge me in year 3...said it multiple times.

I refuse to believe the Catholics would bury a story to protect their image until a later date.

I've never been able to find this actual quote.

I'm not so sure it isn't some fan generated nonsense.

The Tigers are now 6-4 and 3-3 in the SEC in Kelly's third year at LSU after losing to a Florida team that the entire fanbase wanted the coach fired. Kelly has lost to two teams fighting to even finish .500 in USC and Florida, got blown out in the second half against Texas A&M, and got dominated by Alabama.
