Listen, I know everyone hates Notre Dame, I get it. I hated them 3 months ago too. I still think they should join a conference. However, when I went up to South Bend, they showed extraordinary hospitality. They asked me if I needed directions, if I was enjoying my time there, I couldn’t believe it. They are by far the nicest fans I ever met. I know I might break the downvote record, but I talked to some other UGA fans, and they were amazed as well by how nice they were. I almost felt bad when we chanted “UGA! UGA!” during the part where everyone sings the alma mater.

May be because it was neutral site. I think they take extreme pride in their campus.

This topic was beat to death a week after the game when you know before the bandwagon UGA fans signed up here like you after UGA started out 7-0.

I will be at the game when they come to Athens, and I plan to go out of my way to make sure someone wearing green has a nice trip
They were truly fantastic and I’m hopeful we are seen as good hosts by them

I said this about Oklahoma fans. I've heard horror stories but even out in Norman, They couldn't have been more cordial. Wish we played them more often.

Someone who gets it. I’d say less than 10% of the posters here have been there. It’s not very often an opposing fan base won’t be a bunch of drunk idiots. I also plan on trying to help ND fans enjoy their trip in 2019.
