This your first time reviewing CFB rankings? ND even has a NC (66) that they didn't earn by any stretch of the imagination.

This is one of the reasons we are going to 24 teams. The committee has been failures at rewarding teams for actually competing against quality opponents

Agree! SOS needs to be more important in the rankings. Hopefully the playoff committee will recognize this.

My guess is after they lose to Miami. The media props them up so they can make it a top-5 game to hype up.
Then, when ND flames out like they have the previous 2 years, they will get smacked down out of the playoffs so they can take their ball and go home till next season.

Never.
Notre Dame is basically why we even have a national champion. Everyone complains about how Alabama claims National Championships, but it was actually Notre Dame who developed that standard. Alabama started claiming them as a frick you to Notre Dame in the 80s because they would claim them to say they had more than Alabama.
It's pretty interesting history.

I wasn't real impressed with Miami this weekend...
They're remaining schedule is:

@ Notre Dame

Virginia Tech
Boston College
I think they lose to ND, and possibly drop another game too. IMO, this isn't the same team as last year...losing the edge rushers is a bigger deal than media heads thought
