All the way back in the mid-1970s to early 1980s I saw a good bit of Louisiana high school football, and I said then that per capita, they had the most football talent in the entire country. Yea, Texas, Florida, and my home state of Georgia have more playing major college ball, but they all have larger populations too.

There are 79 active players in the NFL that were born in Louisiana through 2020. Alabama has 71. Not sure where that graphic came from so Alabama move on down where you belong. Anybody can move to a state and graduate from high school.

Southwest Louisiana is one the most inbred places in the lower 48. Hell LSU @New Orleans Medical literally has bulletins out on how aggressive inbreeding caused genetic disorders in Acadian communities that never been seen before.

Oh, they notice it believe me lol. Bama has louisiana talent to thank for about half of their nattys under saban. Hell, devonta smith won One for them himself vs uga as a freshman on the last play of the game. Without him in that position in that game, they don't win that title. The scary thing about louisiana and the talent it produces is that even with bama and others (but mainly bama over the years) taking some of our top talent away from lsu, we still have won 2 nattys, played for another, and have built a powerhouse program at lsu while allowing quite a bit of nfl talent go to bama and win titles for them as well. Louisiana just produces vast amounts of talented players...really talented players. Saban knows about louisiana I promise u that.
