But we’ve been told hospitals are overflowing with Covid cases (yes, even vaccinated).

Hospitals are packed

-guy that works in hospitals

Might help a bit if we talked about how to treat Covid instead of just saying "Vaccine and mask!"as many times as possible. I have a doc that is very anti-vaccine and has a treatment plan with Iver, vitamins, and a few other inexpensive treatments as needed and has treated over 1000 patients with 0 fatalities and very few hospitalizations. Many of them are over 90 and have comorbidities. The key is getting ahead of it before it takes hold and turns into pneumonia and other problems. You know, like how you treat most viruses not named Covid. It's literally like Dallas Buyers Club all over.

For some reason with Covid we have told people to cower in fear, wait to get a test, stay isolated instead of getting out and exercising, and wait until you have to go to the hospital where they just give you oxygen and maybe a few treatments that costs thousands of dollars. Do some people need that? Absolutely, but we could cut Covid off at the pass for a HUGE percentage of folks with some level of sanity in terms of treatment. Instead we have the government telling people that Iver is horse paste even though the guy who invented it won the Nobel a few years ago and it is a miracle drug in most of the world.

Let's also act like natural immunity doesn't count even though it does for every other virus.

Oh, and for the OP we aren't testing and college athletes are going to be unlikely to have significant symptoms even if they aren't vaxxed or had Covid (which is a very, very small percentage).

This is a terrible take...even though vaccines work.

Case load on September 1 was as high as the peak last January.

Vaccines can only work in the vaccinated.

Public acceptance of a COVID positive tests and resistance to lockdowns and cancelations are at their highest points.

Keep your Gump logic to yourself.

Left wingers are saying they don’t want to die because they might catch covid from someone who didn’t Vax.

Well, if the Vax works so fking well then why are they so scared? Could it be that deep down they really don’t trust the vaccine?

Secondly, why are so many in the medical community refusing to get vaccinated and why are people from the CDC and FDA quitting their jobs and sounding the alarm about research into these vaccines?

I do not need a liberal like Jimmy Kimmel or some msnbc dumbass preaching to me like they are experts. Besides, if they really believed that only people on the right are not getting the vax then they’d actually be happy knowing we are going to die.

know this is gonna leave a lot of you punching the air but it's almost as if the covid vaccine works.

Vaccine does nothing to prevent infection it helps reduce symptoms.

I guess that’s why we have to protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated?

Many colleges had to cancel games last fall after the 90 day exemption from contact tracing quarantines & testing stopped for prior infections. It was the contact quarantines causing them more than illness isolation.

I still wonder how many of the quarantines ever contracted Wuhan from these contacts especially the ones who already had it 91 days or more in the past. Last year a local School system finally started to loosen quarantine policies after admitting that through March 2021 less than 2% of the nearly 10,000 quarantines to that date ended up becoming infected from the close contact that forced quarantine for 14 days. All those kids either missing classes for 2 weeks (multiple times for some) and/or having to have substitute teachers for 2 weeks.

Also Now with delta vaccinated spreaders are just allowed to spread, and I say this as someone vaccinated and not punching air. I also think there is a real fear that seeing delta spread with asymptomatic vaccinated that other variants are going to make those vaccinated with current mRNA vaccines prone to Antibody-dependent enhancement. Short term boosts in anti-body levels may help if they can force enough to get it or boasters, but t-cell responses would be better than multiple induced spikes of anti-bodies in 6 to 8 months. The next vaccines even mRNA ones and true tested boosters for both prior infections and prior vaccinated are more likely better answers.

Mistrust in vaccines was started by the likes of Kamala, Biden, and many liberals in media including Joy whatever her name is at MSNBC and have continued by minimizing true confirmed infections that are developing natural immunity in policies. Herd immunity was supposed to have been met back in May between infected and vaccinated (not Faucini’s vaccine only herd immunity). Something is up - too many positive test results from fragments or just false positives; antibody tests used in some estimates maybe over applied to population in estimates; vaccines too specific to spike protein of first or early variant; vaccines also making prior infected have a very specific response; or something else that elitist media and tech don’t seem to allow free and open discussions on while allowing people to cheer deaths (and ignore others…).
