Middleton was a dumpster fire when I was an undergrad "working"/taking smoke breaks in any of the multiple smoking areas that still existed well into the 90s. Though I did enjoy perusing the collection of un-PC, offensive to every race and creed joke books.
LSU desperately needs a new library, if for no other reason than Middleton's architecture is woefully out of place with the rest of the Quad and central campus.
As for the OP, I'm glad it got your attention. Carville did exactly what he set out to do.
