Correct. The children dont realize Oklahomas offense barely had the ball that game because their defense couldnt get Army off the field. But when the offense did have the ball they absolutely demolished Army

Army held the ball for 44 minutes that game. Think about that

It's even stranger to see our fans bring that up after having an identical experience with The Citadel for a half.

They haven't faced a top 100 defense all year. Bama will likely shut them out.

That's patently false

I don't think they get shut out but it feels like it will be well below their average this year.

First quarter should say early who controls the game

You wonder why the passing yardage is different because there is only 3-4 teams that can pass the ball in the Sec.... I get it nobody does anything as good as Bama does.

After OU plays BAMA, there will be weeks of talk about how over-rated OU was, and how they couldn't respond to a more athletic team.

"lil" Kyler will look like he is on fricking skates most of the game. He is NOT going to be able to sit in the pocket. His success will be on his little bitty arse being able to hide in the mix of big boys and run away for his fricking life.

I'm actually scared for the little fella.

It’s crazy how much people are underrating OU’s offense, because they only put up 28 against Army.

Despite the fact that they averaged 9+ yds/play.

It’s statistically one of, if not the best offense in college football history.

Who the hell's underrating OU's offense? They are an elite offense and will score points on Alabama. Alabama just so happens to have a pretty good offense and their defense ain't too shabby either.

Kylers arm strength and accuracy has improved alot since he was at a&m. He very hard to defend on play action

Can OU's defense defend Tua/Hurts/Harris/Jacobs/Harris/Jeudy/Waddle/Smith/Ruggs?

um, Murray struggled at A&M because A&M sucks. OU develops QB's. It wasn't the defenses of the SEC, it was the coaching staff at A&M.

I remember when that mighty ou offense was supposed to decimate the Gator defense.

Do you remember?

And just for the record OU is 3-1-1 against Alabama all time. You other guys can be scared of them. WE ARE OU! We don't back down from anybody

The guy who said it will look like Kyler has never seen a football in his life. A lot of people understand how good they are, but I also think some people are somewhat dismissing them because they play in the Big 12.

Don’t get me wrong, I expect Bama to win handily. But OU’s offense has been insane all year.

OU didn't show up that game. Losing a first round, pro bowl running back hurt our run game in the worse way. But, no. hats off, you guys played better that night.

Congrats on a top 5 OU team beating the
unranked 2002 & 2003 Bama teams that was on NCAA probation.

OU was ranked #2 in 2002 & #1 in 2003 when they played Bama. Great matchup...

Now the 2014 Sugar Bowl pissed me off. This win came after Auburn knocked Bama out of the NC game. Still, that was no excuse for Bama losing.

Uhhh, if by athletic you mean heavier, bigger, and stronger, then hell yes.

I'd say both teams are equal in team speed though.

Kyler is legit - OU's offense is elite anyone that says otherwise is an idiot.

Who;s scared of Alabama? But, let's face it. Oklahoma hasn't exactly torn the playoffs up when you have made it.

But, you can run around and talk about how you are not scared.
Clemson beat you 37-17, and you are going against a much better team than Clemson was.

No on team speed.

Ruggs, Jeudy, Smith, and Waddle definitely say no.

Ruggs says frick you and hell no.

Agree wholeheartedly. Obviously in our SEC bubble, some people forget that there are good teams in other parts of the country. I’ve watched OU play a decent amount of football the last two years and Riley truly is an offensive genius. It’s just a shame that his team this year doesn’t know how to tackle

I think some of you may be shocked to see what Kyler is capable of doing in this Lincoln Riley-led offense.

Unfortunately we won't get to see what a healthy Tua would do to Oklahoma.

Oklahoma's Defense is worse than Arkansas's

Arkansas #84 Defense
Oklahoma #97 Defense

Tua threw 13 passes for 334 yards and 4 TDs in the 1st Half

Oklahoma's defense is worse than Texas A&M

Texas A&M #58 Defense
Oklahoma #97

Tua threw for 30 Passes for 387 yards and 4TD in 3Qs

Tennessee's Defense is better than Oklahoma's

Tennessee #49
Oklahoma #97

Tua threw for 29 passes for 309 yards and 4 TDs to start 3rdQ
