No they didn’t. NCAA stated they made the decision under the advisement of the Douglas County Health Department. Except the health department released a statement saying they in fact did not advise the ncaa to remove ncstate.
And they follow it up with a tweet touting 21k in attendance. But athletes in prime physical condition and age can’t play baseball.

You can’t just cancel the whole damn tournament over it. It’s not like it affected L1U in any way since they were already at home with OM and Arkansas.

I don't have time to find it, but the COVID protocols can be accessed and clearly the NCAA did what it wrote out. You could argue the protocols didn't reflect CDC guidance, etc...but they followed their protocols.

This isn’t true at all. We absolutely care about what happened to them. We’re very similar schools when it comes to championships, and they just got their best shot ripped away from them. It’s complete bullshite. That said, it is what it is, and now we gotta beat Vandy. State earned their way to the title game, so why wouldn’t we show up in large numbers?

I don't understand why anyone thinks what happened to them is unfair. Untimely, unfortunate are words that fit but it's not unfair. The rules are clearly stated.

Because vaccinated players should not be subject to testing. Regardless of contact tracing.

Exactly. If there are any asterisks it should be on Vandy if they win. State should get one too, but it should be there because we beat the team given the greatest advantage ever. State will have earned everything fair and square.

You won 15 games, but do you really consider Ga. Southern, NW State(?), and Utah St. as "countable" opponents?
I can tell you you this:
All 13 of Alabama's wins were against P-5 opponents, with the entire regular season being SEC teams, and the only team to come within 15 points of them was Florida in the SECCG, while LSU won games by 7pts, 5pts, and 3pts. in'19.
By the way the Ohio St. team you criticized, beat Clemson by 21 points, just before Alabama curb stomped them 52-24
Now I don't expect to change your mind, and you ain't gonna change the minds of the various sports news outlets that crowned the '20 Tide as the GOAT, nor myself, so let's just agree to disagree...OK?
