You don’t get much spillover crime in Nashville. The vast majority of the city is safe and well run and the crime is pretty much contained to a few areas.

Congrats for coming from money. I’m sure that has provided you with a lot of experience with the inner cities.

I've traveled more than you.

Possibly. But I’ve traveled plenty myself. Not that it’s worth bragging about to have traveled throughout the majority of this region. But you do you bud

And they have more nice areas and a lower percentage ghetto

Can you breakdown those percentages for me? Thanks. And maybe give me the crime stats in the neighborhoods with homes that start at $2 million. Again, thanks in advance.

To be fair, most of the murders happening in the city aren’t happening to the school aged children of millionaires

Well, it will be interesting to see. LSU lost Freeman as DC because of this, and Aranda is rumored to have said he wouldn’t raise his kids there.

What if Aranda is the pick? Does he say thanks, but no thanks because BR is such a hole?

Stay tuned …

Broadway will change it slowly, count on it.

The footprint is small & quaint with a University in it (Athens, Oxford, Fayetteville, etc)

BR is too large and almost beyond repair. Maybe we can relocate LSU to Central La.

If you’re rich in Baton Rouge life is pretty damn nice and private schools can compete with just about all the other private schools in the sec. most sec cities aren’t that top notch. Oxford doesn’t exactly attract top coaching talent

Nah I just live in reality. Millionaires don’t live in the ghetto. These arguments will always be ridiculous.

I happened to have grown up in a city that rivals BR’s crime. Guess what? I didn’t live anywhere near any of it and grew up my entire childhood being completely separated from all of it. Do you really think a football coach making that kind of cash has to worry about what goes on in those neighborhoods? No, he doesn’t

Sneaking crack into vending machines was the best idea Harry Rex and I ever had. We've made serious bank all over the southeast.

Baton Rouge is an awesome place to raise kids UNLESS you are poverty stricken which most people in EBRP are NOT. Just stay out of 70805 at 2am.

I can't even believe you're asking for percentages and trying to defend Baton Rouge. I'm just thankful Ole Miss and MSU aren't in Jackson, Bama and Auburn aren't in Montgomery, UGA isn't in Atlanta and UT isn't in Memphis. Like them it's one of the worst cities in America. I don't like going to Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge was featured in City Confidential. This was the original with the great Paul Winfield.
It has fermented much since.

the murder capital of Louisiana

Like many cities, the crimes and especially murders are isolated to outer areas, far away from anywhere that a LSU HC would venture.

Except that it isn’t, to the extent that the cancer alley thing is even true.

But hey Oxford is awesome. It’s almost like being in a real village.
