We seldom watch. Especially baseball. I’d as soon watch paint dry. Right now I couldn’t tell you how UGA is doing in baseball. Don’t know and don’t care. Getting ready for my trip to Georgias spring football game. That will be a lot more fun and definitely more exciting than watching any baseball game

Is it necessary to lie to try to prove a point?

Objectively false

Bama isn’t reacting well to the dethroning of their football team. That’s why BB is so important to them right now. So important they checked their character and morals at the door and think it’s ok to allow a thug who participated in a murder to represent their school.

This is a hell of a lot closer to the truth than any of the gumps will ever admit.

If you don’t like college baseball, statistics say you likely grew up poor.

Many posts in this thread scream trashy.

Imagine your life revolving around 12 Saturdays a year.

Pathetic.

I didn’t grow up poor. We were quite comfortable. And I’ve never given a damn about baseball in any form. Pro, college or high school. Boring!

Nope.

What year is this from?

Numerous articles citing LSU baseball being profitable pre covid.

Per google-

“LSU baseball, one of the few baseball programs nationally to turn an annual profit, made a profit of $464,109 in in 2019.”

I assume everyone lost money 2020-2021 across the board within most athletic departments.

Georgia fans are really bored right now aren’t they?

The dumb ones are, meanwhile I’m watching my bracket go up in more flames and watching the women’s team duke it out for a spot in the Sweet 16

If Georgia basketball or baseball were contending for championships and being talked about you’d be running your mouth nonstop.

Every D1 college baseball team operates in a deficit (and is bailed out by football).

Your sport does not matter.

So we can only enjoy a college sport if it's a profitable business? That's the dumbest shite I have read all day

I’ve seen the fiscal year report from 2021-22 that was released in January. You’re wrong

Maybe spring football practice will make them feel special again.

Bama is in the sweet 16 and I agree with him. If Bama loses it isn't a big deal to me, unlike losing a football game.

I’m not shooting the messenger. I’m telling you that your message is incorrect. It’s ok.

Baseball, the other LSU team that usually records profits, did so as Alex Box Stadium operated with full capacity for an entire season for the first time since 2019 and contributions ($2.43 million) returned to pre-pandemic levels. The program reported $6.06 million in overall revenue and had a net income of $84,595 in coach Jay Johnson’s first season after losing money for two straight years.
