But I'd rather watch glorified scrimmages than most of what else is on right now.
It is late April. I'd rather be outside doing other things than watching a glorified scrimmage.

Watched it on YouTube tonight, Jake fromm is tight. He struggled mightily. Fields looks damn scary.
And that Stetson Bennett kid, 22, what is he? He impressed me a lot. Is he a walk on?
I watched about a half. This is a very good synopsis so pretend I wrote it.

oh boy, you done it now.
Yes he is a walk-on, the same walkon that one of our tard posters has been claiming all week is better than jalen hurts.

I'm just sayin there's a difference in throwing it around (when you can't be tackled) against 2nd adn 3rd stringers in an organized practice compared to doing it in real life in the SEC.
But I'd agree he certainly doesn't look like a typical walkon.

That's cool. The scrimmages take all of about 30 minutes to 45 minutes to watch on Youtube. I still have lots of time. Lucky enough to have a job that pays well enough and where I only have to put in about 20 a week and get a butt load of vacay on top of it.

That's what Id expect from a fan of the ACC. It's different in the SEC where every game - even a spring game - is special. It's REAL football here in SEC country. Football that brings in the fans. Not that stuff y'all call football in the ACC

Reminded me of Jeremy Johnson the first time I saw him play.

He was going against the #2's and honestly I don't think the coverages were all too difficult.
He's extremely polished, though, and I think the only really bad thing about him is that he stares down his receivers. He had a slant pass that looked really clean.
Overall I'd say you can't draw too many conclusions, though, because like Emory Jones for the Florida game, he wasn't really playing against the 1's and at times they can look way better than they actually are.
Spring Games are also just glorified propaganda, coaches seem to utilize them to sort of give confidence to those that need it and light a fire under those they think are too comfortable (Fromm).

To be fair, he threw to beautiful passes on deep balls that should have been caught early and seemed to press after that. The offense looked sloppy for the most part all night.
