Its not the defense, its the oline. With no running game, opposing D's will just come after our QB hard. We gotta be able to run

Want your opinion on lsu?

I was at the MSU-LSU game this weekend and LSU was outplayed in every aspect of the game. They look very lethargic on offense and defense. The running game is non-existent and it's really going to suffer once they play a "good" team.

LSU is as overrated as Ole Miss was last weekend.

Y'all needed four turnovers, a punt return for a touchdown, and a goal line stand to beat the mighty Bulldogs of Mississippi State. Auburn ran the ball at will against the same team a couple of weeks ago, and LSU could get nothing going. LSU 2009 reminds me a lot of LSU in 2008.

Beat Georgia though, and all of this is moot.

The game was too early!! We didn't play as well as I hoped we would. I was glad to see a few deep completions since people were assuming JJ couldn't make those passes. But we will have to play better against Georgia to win.

I remember Alabama playing down to their competition more than twice last year.

Miles has a bad habit of playing to his competition. I am hoping this rigns true for the next 3 weeks, for sure. We don't seem to dominate anyone anymore. The next 3 weeks will tell us everything we want to know about LSU.

We also missed 2 field goals and an extra point. We gave them the ball on our one yard line and a safety.
So it could have been 37-17

but they cant get it together

This pretty much sums it up. JJ has looked great on some throws and on others he looks lost.

The Oline will look dominating on one drive then the next they look like their overmatched.

The D will look like a fricking wall one drive then the next give up 8 yards a play.

If they can play consstently they could beat anybody. But if they keep playing like they are they could get beat by anybody.

I honestly think we are 4th or possibly 5th in the SEC West.

1. Alabama
2. Auburn
3. Ole Miss
4. LSU
5. Arkansas
6. Miss. St

LSU needs to pick who they want to be on offense. Defense has improved alot since last year. If you haven't seen that, then you didn't watch much LSU football last year. I'm not worried about them near as much as the O.

Miles needs to run the offense or let Crowton run the offense b/c we are trying to incorporate two different types of offensive gameplans. Running up the gut vs. Spread offense. It's painful to watch. Use the offense that best fits our personnel.

LSU OG's are small, and are not built to run it up the middle 20 plays a game.

Not flamin, just a question. Do you think this could be because Miles is more of a players coach, and it is affecting the toughness so to speak? Shula was a players coach for us and it showed in their toughness. World of difference for us now.

The only positive i took out of the MSU game was Jefferson. He only had time to throw on 3 or 4 occasions and everytime he completed perfect strikes to his receivers for big gains.

Yeah, we have problems, but JJ isn't one of them.

Hard to say. Pete Carroll is a players coach and he does ok. Barry Switzer was a players coach too. There's no one way to win.

I didn't get to see the LSU vs MSU game. I'm not trying to flame by any means but why couldn't LSU run the ball?? Was the offensive line playing that bad??

30yds in 31 attempts.

we gave up a couple of big sacks and had a botched snap on a punt that combined to take probly 50 yards off our rushing total, but even 31 carries for 85 yards or so is still terrible and yes they looked that bad

I disagree. I don't believe any team is/was as overrated as Ole Miss and that is not a flame, just my opinion. I know the repetitive statement is Nutt can't win when he is supposed to, but it is true.

With that being said LSU is somewhat overrated too, but I don't know of any other teams that look THAT impressive, I do believe that if LSU and Auburn played this weekend I believe LSU would lose. When the close of the season approaches I don't believe LSU or Ole Miss will be in the conversation for the West.
