Being from bama won't trigger Texans trust me. Only one state has that potential and it ain't down south.

I don't know man. I lived in Houston and it was like a bigger and even hotter and more humid version of Huntsville. I mean you can get on your high horse and try to act like an elitist, and Bama may be a redneck Southern state but so is Texas. I have seen it firsthand.

Texas is definitely a great school as well, and Austin’s a great city.

Austin is a wonderful city, if you have money.

Personally, I highly recommend it as an adult with a good job.

However, I wouldn’t want to go to college here.

It’s a shitty place to be a poor college student, crammed in the middle of a concrete jungle downtown, paying out the arse for a shoebox-sized apartment and dealing with smelly bums on the way to class.

Going to college in a major city’s downtown is just not my idea of the true American college experience.

I advise my path: go to college at A&M and enjoy a real college town experience, where you can live in a house for next to nothing, experience no crime, and get an equivalent degree without the extra expense or hassle. Then, when you graduate with that valuable degree, move to Austin, get job making good money, and actually enjoy what Austin has to offer.

Texas. Austin is a fun city, and UT doesn’t require you to suck a dick as a prerequisite for any fields of study.

For school, sure. For network, sure. For enjoying the trappings of college life, no.

What does Norman offer that can't be found in CS college life wise. Be specific with examples
