It was just a freak injury and nothing to do with a collision, nor was it the fault of the coach. He probably shouldn’t have sent him home, but the injury was just bad luck.

He didn't just send him. He said go, stop, go. THAT caused the injury more than anything else.

No, all that caused was him being late to the plate. I can see, potentially, blaming the 3rd base coach for the out but, as EKG said, blaming anyone for the injury is just weird.

Sucks for Braden. Hope he recovers quickly, but if he didn’t hesitate he makes it. That close early…. I’d send him. Sucks he got hurt.
