Too bad he's not going, it would have been interesting to see him there. No tremendous expectations, win 6, or pull a big upset or two a season, and you're good. Surprised he didn't want to go. Bwack, bwack, bwack.

They really did try to turn their program around.
They need to throw $100 million plus into their facilities if they want to turn their program around. It's insane (to me at least) that Vandy was willing to shell out so much for Malzahn.

Could be they could raise the money if they have something to sell to the alumni. Hiring Malzhan might give them that.

I don't think the problem is a lack of money as much as it is a lack of a football culture. Winning can help "cure" that, but how many wins could Gus rack up in the SEC. Not many.
It just seems that Vandy is trying to put the cart before the horse.

Auburn just got PLAYED...
Yeah cause everyone knows Malzahn wouldn't get a raise otherwise....

I think its funny how so many on SECr were sure he was gone and now that he stayed there never was an offer...lol...sounds like the bammers saying they never wanted or offered the recruit they didn't sign.
Bunch of skeered fans now thathe is staying.

Dude, the Washington Post and other media outlets said he was gone. What did you expect us to believe? Could it be he told Vandy yes and was counter offered by AU?
This is the real world and things change.

Being OC at a lot of schools is better than being HC at Vandy= That would be almost a lateral move. I say he played AU , got the raise and watch him bolt after next year

1.5 million from AU + a trip to the casino >>> 3million from Vandy

You shouldn't believe most of what you read.

Unless it is written in a thread started by blueTunaTiger. Then it is gold.

Uh, you did SEE the article in the OP, right? You know that the SEC Rant didn't WRITE that, correct?
