Unlikely. I remember them losing to OSU in the playoff and everyone thought Meyer had surpassed Saban and that Bama had been passed by OSU, who was returning a ton of talent, etc.

Then Saban dug in and won another couple titles.

I’ll believe they are declining when they miss the playoff. Until then, there is no way to know.

LOL - Dabo was part of the Mike DuBose regime. We'd love to have him back, he's great, etc..........but everyone on that staff was rightly fired.

Well, I don't read things aloud to myself, so I don't hear it at all. I get that Clemson fans have to sound out simple words though, so you'll be forgiven for thinking that's how it works.

I don't believe that Alabama is so much in a decline as it is that Clemson University has just become the penultimate football program in the history of this sport.

Admit it. You have no idea what penultimate means do you?

Isn't that the truth.

I know it hurts USUC to have to watch our success, but they know that they will never have any.

How much must it hurt UGAY fans to see their team from the Mighty SEC Conference fail year in and year out, while little old Clemson stacks up the titles?

We've played in four straight National Championship games and made the playoff every year.

Exact same thing could be said for Tommy Bowden at Clemson. Only, we had enough sense to recognize greatness in a young WR Coach, named Dabo.

Honest answer: too early to tell but most likely no. Now for the first time in a long timecthey seem slightly more vulnerable and aren’t just getting good news.

Wrong. Y'all were so poor you couldn't fire him and afford someone with experience.

Yes. Absolutely in decline. One data point is all that is needed.

You guys were literally talking about firing him in January 2011

TigerNet - January 2011

Guess you are lucky your AD had more patience than your fans did.

Yet to be determined, but both Georgia and Alabama seem to have hit a rough spot recently.

I'd say the first sign of decline would be fatigue on the recruiting trail. So far, that doesn't seem to be the case considering the 2019 class and early 2020 commitments.
