We might do the same, but we are going to do it because Nebraska is doing it.
We feel it is better to follow the orininators, although next to kansas, Nebrasja is the hair lice on an elephant's vagina.

This ranks at the top of nothingburgers, but I’m enchanted so many non-Longhorns are obsessed about it.

This is actually really alarming. Sark trying to hide his playbook with Arch makes sense now. A lot of turn over on the roster. horn with the 5th easiest schedule in the conference, dragged down to 5th by Ohio State game only. There is a lot of pressure on Sark to eat three his easy schedule next year so he’s taking his advantages. Canceling a spring game no one attends anyways is an easy cover.

On top of that, Sark needs to re-lease the lambos that got turned in by exiting players to new players. Favoritism.

There won’t be a spring. Moving to Summer OTA’s. Only workouts in the spring.

better figure out how to charge for it or get rid of it.
Should they charge for fans to watch practice???? A spring game, depending on how it's coached, is just a glorified practice.

Im pretty sure A&M or LSU don’t charge admission to the Spring Game. I was unaware schools charged outside of a Colorado.
If you charge, you are just trying to fleece your fans out of a quick $100k to see a practice.
What I did see is that a lot of Spring Games are no longer televised, or only a few select schools get the ESPN coverage, and are rotated.
Deion was upset last year that ESPN didn’t do Colorado’s spring game again and claimed it hurts recruiting of the Spring Games aren’t on the big networks. I don’t think Sark was chosen for ESPN/Fox/ABC/CBS coverage anyways, so it’s not like he turned down 3 hours on prime time in the spring. It would be interesting to know if he actually turned down the network coverage tho and why.

You’re going to play the scrimmage anyways in practice.
Correct… every hit adds up. It’s unnecessary.

Yes… every hit adds up. Injuries happen all the time. Limiting unnecessary contact is reasonable. You’d think a fan of a team that was ravaged by injuries last year would understand that, then again nobody ever said OU fans were smart.

Aggie buddie of mine paid 10 bucks to attend an Aggie Spring Game in the Sumlin era.

I never paid under Sumlin. There was one year that we had free hot dogs, the concessions were chaotic. Ran out of 20k hot dogs in 1 hour.

Texas did not start this. Matter of fact McElwain at Florida did this at Florida. It did not put some unique title to it; it just replaced the Spring Game with a skill competition for the players. It sucked and he did it cause we did not have enough o-line to run a scrimmage.

Nobody follows the gays. If others change it won’t be because you people did it.

Matt Rhule thinking that anyone cares about his program is the conspiracy
Sour grapes. You're still upset because the Big10 chose to take Nebraska while leaving Missouri sitting in a dirty diaper, crying.

The Spring Game for us is alway Parents Weekend. It’s kinda a big deal bc a lot of families go. A lot of parents first and only time at Kyle.
There you go, it's tradition. Aggy is not allowed to change with the times, (WWII UNIFORMS.) You can't even stop your boy cheerleaders from squeezing their business behind the goal post, it's tradition.

Truthfully, I never liked spring games anyway. Texas on Texas never worked for me. Call it a practice and I could process it better.
