Yea I’m sure when Saban got to Alabama the first thing he did was tell boosters to quit paying big money to recruits like they had been doing.
And then after going 6-6 his first season and losing to ULM, he goes out and immediately signs a #1 recruiting class.
Nobody is buying that, so Bama fans need to quit trying to sell it.

The 2009 class was ranked #3.
The 2010 class was ranked #4.
The 2011 class was ranked #1.

You can't out pay recruits. That is the whole point of the argument. That is why the NCAA is looking into some schools. It is illegal to say we have this contract worth this much ready for you if you sign with ?? university.

Naive bro. It's not like any of this hasn't been common knowledge for a long time.
Naming names and pointing fingers is new, so it may appropriately take some shine off Saban and Jimbo's legacies. College football will survive those two cheaters just fine.

Its been openly admitted that everyone cheated during the SWC days too. However some were punished and the others weren't. Politics at its finest

Jimbo is alleging Saban cheated years ago.
Literally everyone outside of College Station is saying A&M cheated a few months ago.
Which will be easier to prove? Jimbo has already been busted for cheating once at FSU. Not sure he should be the one leading this particular charge.
