Tell me NC Clemson fan..... How many returning starters on offense and defense does Clemson have. I simply do not know how good they really are because they are destroying all their ACC opponents. The ACC is such a weak conference that I have no inkling how good they are... I need some sort of gauge to judge them... I know they are elite, I just don't know how elite.

They returned 13 starters, with most of the current starters seeing a significant number of snaps in the 2 and 3 deep last year.

The D that everyone questioned at the beginning of the year has been Venables most brilliant work yet. Isaiah Simmons is one of the best players in CFB that few people are talking about.

That is the problem with all of these Clemson hot takes... very few fans, especially on here, have watched much of Clemson over the past 6 weeks but they automatically discount Clemson over schedule.

Man, I don’t know much about them. Hate to say it but I know way more about LSU, OSU, and even Utah as I have watched a couple of their games.

They seem like the forgotten team this year.

It doesn't matter....the old narrative was we would get destroyed in the playoffs because we don't play anyone and once we play "quality" talent we would lose....Well, that narrative didn't work so now that have to say we are too rested"...It's always going to be something.

Heaven forbid the ACC have the most bowl eligible teams to watch the haters have to resolve that...Oh wait..the ACC is the only conference with over 10 teams bowl eligible.

Lol are you kidding with this shite? 9 teams at 7-5 or 6-6 and Clemson at 12-0?

Maybe our perception of your conference as weak is because the majority of your bowl eligible teams are 6-6?

I completely agree with you... the whole “want the 1st seed to not okay Clemson in Semis is fairly ridiculous”
.

I would Imagine LSU wants it so they can play in Atlanta. And OSU wants it so they have the choice to move it to Atlanta if they face UTAH or to Glendale if somehow LSU loses to UGA and they get 4th spot. It’s got ZERO to do with Clemson.

That gives me some idea, then.... I saw them against Texas A&M but the game was so boring because of Clemson's superiority and Clemson wasn't playing well at the time... I've seen OSU just about every week because they literally have there own network in FOX. I know what they are all about. Should be interesting, to say the least.

They might be awesome or they might be Minnesota in a super weak conference. They’ve got the talent and they’ve got the coaches so my guess is they’re very good. They beat the crap out of Alabama earlier this year straight up, no bad calls no flukes, no luck. Beat Bama worse than anyone has since Saban has been there. They’re dangerous because we don’t know what’s up with them. They’re a mystery

You can say that Clemson is probably better than Utah, but that's just it. Nobody knows, because Clemson's schedule is one of the worst ever by a P5 school. The only thing scary about Clemson this season is that nobody knows how good they are. They will lose the first playoff game against whoever it is that they face.

If Clemson is a dog vs LSU/Ohio St I will absolutely bet on it.

That is what I was thinking also.... Lawrence to me is still a total mystery. He can be awesome and at times dismal... I do think that much of what was seen of him earlier in the year was due to lack of competition and being lethargic. I think he will arise to the situation in the playoffs though because he's already been there. Etienne is a great back who is very similar to JK Dobbins.

Actually UGA and Clemson have exactly same stats for Defense so clemson is tied for best scoring defense uga actually has slightly more points per game scored. And your vaunted RB will mot gash the dawgs D,

So far, Clemson has not done a single thing to make me even blink. Onward.
