LSU has not won a Major Bowl since the 2007 Sugar Bowl almost 9 season ago. They have only went to 1 major bowl since then and lost 21-0. The only team to ever be shut out of a BCS bowl.
Ole Miss and Mississippi State have been to Major Bowls more recently. The Sugar and Orange bowl respectively.
LSU has won the west 1 time in going on 9 season.
Auburn, Bama, and Florida have all won National championships more recently.
Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Auburn have all beaten Bama more recently.
LSUs only claim to relevancy is attaching it's self to Bama like they are rivals.
LSU fired their most successful coach in history and their fans are hoping a career D-line coach can take them to the next level.
LSU fans are as delusional as Ole Miss fans used to be, back before they were buying players and non competitive.
