He brought that program back from the deepest circle of hell in an amazingly short period of time. That was a bottom 5 P5 program when he took over, and they’re a legitimate top-20ish team right now just 3 years in.

The dude hires great coordinators/assistants and utilizes the portal better than most. He’s the best coach Arkansas has had in at least a decade. I just don’t understand the “beginning of the end” reaction from their fans over one loss, a loss that I admit was in many ways a fluke.

I don’t get it either. Pittman has been a miracle worker the past 2.5 years. I don’t see any reason why that would change today just because of two absolutely fluke plays.

More people are down on Briles, and if anything Pittman's refusal to reign in the trick plays that haven't worked for 3 years. This was a game most felt like we should have won, and honestly we should have. 1 game won't define the season but it sure did let a ton of air out.

I need to retire my football Fandom. This mood today is unhealthy.

I don't think most of our fans are down on Pittman at all.. just diappointed with all the mistakes we keep making. Last week fumbling on the 1 yard line about to score hurt us in the Missouri State game, with the two other turnovers.. we overcame those.. but couldn't last night. Had many chances to put the game away but didn't. That's the biggest reason we are disappointed.

They should be happy to be competitive in SEC games. They are the Iowa State of the SEC.

This is the non-melt truthful explanation.

I felt like that was a toss-up game going in. I also expected both teams to play better than they did.

This series is always crazy since the Ags joined the SEC.

I watched Pittman's presser this morning. I have a ton of respect for him as a man and a football coach.

He's also somebody I'd enjoy havin' a beer with. Good dude!

Dude, you are 3-8 in a worse conference dating back to last year … know the room

And come to think of it, didn’t you LOSE to Iowa State?

Your biggest win of the last decade.

As sad as that is.

Not really. You were just a speed bump on our road last season. And you were treated as such - run over

Even most Aggies expected Arkansas to win this game.

Y’all are a great club and there’s no reason you can’t win 10 games.

When the new 12 team playoff system kicks in… it will relieve a lot of this pressure because there will still be so much to play for!
