So Saban owns a Mercedes dealership right? Could he give cars to players to promote his dealership?
Is that technically legal?

Does Mercedes make Chargers now?

I think it’s legal man.

Well didn’t they design it? Bought Dodge to steal the Hemi for their AMG series, then sold it.
This was mostly wondering if any coach could do that, with any car..

I don't think the NCAA knows what the rules are but I do think employees of the school cannot do certain things and that would be one of them.
The one thing the schools can do is allow players to use LSU brand when participating in NIL deals or for example, a LSU baseball player had a baseball camp he put on one weekend this fall and charged a fee and I do believe he was allowed to indicate or use LSU in that flyer he sent out.

They couldn’t have the manager of the lot write up the contracts? I’m pretty sure Saban isn’t down there slinging G Wagens.

Fixed before you pointed it out, my bad for not re reading things.
And for all the points you brought to the conversation.

This isn’t really a conversation. Your question was answered but you didn’t like the answer.

I think this could work to some teams advantage. To be honest, I don’t think Alabama has to do this, they just show the contract wall.
But could SMU do it?

You didn’t point out why it couldn’t happen, you had nothing, so you pointed out a grammatical error like the c unt you are.

It's open market, Saban can't directly pay. Boosters, fans can do whatever they want, wild west. Hiding the pay for play is a thing of the past.

Can you not say cunt? Wow

No. And coach owns a couple of dealerships.
Big business and a player's agent are all that's needed to get around any problem associated with making millionaires out of these players. The Universities are subject to state laws mandating NILs and most have ongoing programs to educate the players on how it all works.

I live by the Mercedes dealership in Birmingham. Notably, there have been Dodge Challengers in the 'display case' sitting atop the building and visible from the highway.

You're really making Arkansas proud. Way to show off that Hog education.

Perhaps you should shimmy over there and see if you can get one of those cyber Monday deals.
