I bought some black velvet whiskey tonight. It's not that bad actually. Better than Canadian mist IMO.

I'm sipping on some Conecuh Ridge. Hate that I there's no such thing as the real Conecuh Ridge whiskey anymore, but it's still pretty good.
Had a few pretty good home brews earlier tonight as well.

What did y'all do for New Years. I went to a friends with a bunch of friends. It was pretty calm til midnight. Then we got to singing to old music and taking shots. Turned out to be a great party.

I remember after I turned 21 and my cousin was still 20, I was sent to the ABC to purchase alcohol for the evening's party. His order was Heaven Hill. It was his birthday though, and I was in the giving mood, so I got him some Makers instead. When I got back and gave it to him his response was "what the frick is this?"

How does any 20 year old that drinks not know what Makers is? It's one of the most common whiskeys around the southeast.

Had friends in town for the bowl game so we made it a fairly low key NYE. Went to World of Beer and rocked delicious brews, listened to live tunes and watched LSU meltdown. Great night!
