What I don't get is people buying crown instead of makers. FOR SHAME.... Ill still drink it if you put it in my hand though.

Tell me about it. He ended up liking it though. I just thought it was hilarious at the time because he was mad about wanting bourbon flavored grain alcohol and getting pretty good real bourbon instead. Some people just never move past the buy the cheapest shite possible stage from freshman year.

I had a great time. The band was really pretty good. Interesting. From Clearwater and I'm blanking on the name... something about the ... Stick Show? Lead singer was at least part Irish so some Irish tunes, but he also rapped really well so some interesting covers and originals of theirs that I enjoyed. At one point the drummer, lead singer played a drum solo on a bucket and a turned over barstool... it was awesome. Meanwhile, the sax and bass player started playing on the drum kit and they started rotating. Dunno if anyone else has seen that done but I had not... thought it was AWESOME.Posted on 1/4/13 at 2:03 am to NATidefan
Only downside was trying not to hook up with the ex-girlfriend who was here. Success = failure at the same time? Man card revoked I'm sure...

Even freshman year I knew what good whiskey was thanks to the well stocked liquor cabinet at home. But as a first year in college you only have one goal. And I'll be honest, I'm not completely past that stage as a sophomore. I'll still buy a fifth of evan green and a case of Budweiser if it's going to be that kind of weekend.

A case of beer won't last an entire weekend, and neither will a single fifth. I've learned to just go ahead and buy both Friday afternoon instead of having to find someone to take my drunk arse to get beer or liquor on Saturday night.
