If so, he knows a hell of a lot more about music than I do. I'm a sidewalk music fan. I listen to it, and enjoy it, but don't actually have any true connection or relation to it. Even if I understand the intricacies, I'm still an outsider looking in.

Yeah... He knows more than me too. But when it comes to knowing isbell, shakes, doc Dailey, DBT, civil wars, Lauderdale, and any other Americana. You two are by far at the top.

Just depends on what other folks are doing. I would guess that I could at least bring one or two with me, but I won't know until Saturday. If it doesn't work out I'll let you know. But I'll definitely make it several times over the next semester.

If you ever want some insight on a isbell, doc, DBT or Lauderdale song. Let me know. A lot are about where I grew up and are easy to decipher if you know the area.

I'm always looking for new music and it's a subject that interests me. I wish I had more time to devote to it, and wish I was more talented myself.

I played guitar a couple of times in middle school and picked it up fairly quick, but ended up devoting my time to the outdoors and a girl.

Drink to sleep is an amazing song. Not really any ties to the area other than its about a girl he was hung up on.
It does paint a picture of the area loosely though, but nothing definite.
