No, I'm not insistent on trying with raw fish the first time. I could do veggies or fake crab or cooked shrimp. But I don't wanna buy the tools to make it if I can't do raw fish at some point. You can order it online, but that's so expensive you might as well go out and eat it.

Anything over medium is pretty hard to eat. Medium rare is normally perfect.

Correctly cooked medium is pretty much rare in the middle.

I had rare on accident one time. I said medium-rare and the guy thought I sad just rare I guess. I decided to try it and it was really good. Just a little too "bloody" tasting for me to get it every time I have a steak.

I've had rare before and I liked it.
I like mine somewhere between medium rare and rare. It is difficult to get anything besides a really nice steakhouse to make one that way though. Places like Longhorn almost always overcook them.

I like correctly cooked medium, which is medium rare at most restaurants. Outback actually is the only chain that typically does medium right.
ETA but if I had to choose between medium rare and a medium that wasn't correct, I'd take a more medium rare any day.

My dog just freaked out in her sleep. Legs we're moving, she was breathing hard, and her head was jerking a little. I thought she was having some kind of seizure, but she was fine as soon as I touched her and woke her up. Weird.

At least I don't like it well done? Or medium well?

As long as you don't tell us you're putting ketchup on it.
I would hope the boy would not allow a travesty of that level.

I don't even put A-1 on steak. I like it just the way that it is.
And he can't tell me what to do. I do what I want.

You said that anything rare is nasty, but that's how you like your steak in the middle.

Ruth's Chris or Jeff Ruby's may disagree (I don't know that you all have Ruby's down that way though).

I don't like anything completely raw. Particularly seafood.

I like fried and baked, but not raw.

I have to have a lot of horseradish and cocktail sauce with it for me to get started on some raw oysters. It's the texture for me.
