Arch will move on at season's end. He can't just sit under Sark and rot away.
Who the hell would take him when he expects $4 -6mm a year?
If he walked into Kirbys office, hat in hand and said he'd play for free I'd tell him Ga. State is 60 miles west of here.

We have a lot of issues beyond arch. It falls at the feet of the guy in charge.

Of course, Arch needs work. Sark has had 2-1/2 years to do this work.
I credit Arch for trying to single-handedly force a win yesterday. It didn't work out, but he showed fight. Arch is a work that evidently has not been in-progress ever since he's been at Texas.
Steve Sarkisian is an NFL OC at best. He's not the CEO of one the most wealthy CFB programs in the nation - even though that wealth will at times, hide his ineptitude.

Yep but, at some point, these billionaires are going to stop buying expensive players for a guy who clearly can’t win at the highest level. That’s when the wheels fall off, and even the most ardent supporters of sark will have to face the reality that so many of us already see.

I just had a frightening thought - what if Arch was forced on Sark by CDC? What if CDC was all about the media and publicity for the program (because that's his job...) and CDC was flipping all the switches to make Arch happen?
Then how do you fire Sark?

49 - 17
21 - 29

70 - 46
Texas is 24 points better than Florida.
Don't get triggered now.

I give cdc more credit than that, although I would not be surprised if he wasn't heavily involved in the hype train that followed arch from the moment he got here.
Don't forget, Sark was recruiting Arch while he was OC at bama.

The accuracy is fixable. The arm strength is what it is and isn't likely to get better.

You have to give SEC fans some slack. They waited all last season to hit us with the "Welcome to the SEC" smack. Unfortunately, every SEC team not named Georgia failed at that task.
This has been festering for a year. They forget last season happened. It's call "coping"
Remember when the Ags were going to "welcome" us to the sec in Kyle Field last season?
Yeah so do I
Unfortunately, it's all downhill from here with Sark. They will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the shite sandwich he's given us.

The accuracy is fixable. The arm strength is a fallacy that began on some fat-asses couch. Arch can sling a ball, near and far. Where it goes is the issue.

The obsession from other SEC fans over Arch is quite the spectacle. Especially considering they all complain about the hype that they, themselves, helped to create.

Ever since it was announced, they had waited for 5 years to "welcome" us to the SEC. It was festering in their bitter souls. They couldn't wait!!
And then we showed up and beat that arse. I mean we shite all over their whole purpose for living - a football conference in a land of poors.
So yeah, here they come long after the fact, trying to release the words they were forced to eat last year. But it rings hollow.

Give that stupid shite a rest. You had all last season to welcome us to the SEC and outside of Georgia. No one could, so spare me the drama. Why didn’t you beat us last season? Our problem has nothing to do with the conference and everything to do with the man in charge
Y’all ought to fire Sark immediately. Dude has done nothing other than take a what, perennial 8-4,9-3 team who played one team with a pulse every season and taken them to the playoffs 2 years in a row? If a coach isnt capable of duplicating Nick Saban’s success that coach is unworthy of continued employment. Never mind this would include any coach who ever coached not named Nick Saban and every program not named Alabama in a state where the entires state’s self image is wrapped up in college football because what the hell else do they have?

It especially stung considering it was a big12 team that came in and won all those game.
Totally explains the release of frustration today with all the "welcome to the sec" smack.
Like you said though, it's pretty hollow after last season.

If not for NIL and the new rules, I would listen to you.

While losing to every elite team we played. The problem is that there are a lot of shitty programs in the SEC and Big 12 and Sark benefitted from that.
I'm not going to get into a pissing match over Sark's coaching ability. Looking at this overall record as a head coach speaks to that.
He's also not getting fired this season, even if he goes winless.
I'm sure a georgia fan would love for us to keep sark since you so thoroughly own his arse. I don't blame you.

Yeah I have a feeling we're not gonna lose guys to Tech anymore. And Sark needs to unfrick himself with a quickness.
