To Miss State for his junior year. Very big news. Nick, Tyson Carter, Woodard, Perry, Ado.... Possibly Peters will be back. DJ Stewart coming off a redshirt.

Thank you clarifying he was coming back to Mississippi State. I had thought he was coming back to Yale

This is first I heard of this but if true huge news. I figured he’d transfer out after getting in Howland’s dog house and not allowed to play the final 9 or 10 games. He’s our top defender, something we could have used post season.

Do you actually follow MSU sports? He was suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules and Howland refused to comment on it only to say there would be no further comments until Nicks status with the team changed. Every true MSU fan should know this.

Big for State. I think you've got another tournament team here assuming everyone takes a step forward. But I already have confidence in that starting 5. You have some good freshmen coming in and you redshirted one and had a transfer sit out. Losing Lamar is a loss but not a season changer if Nick can come back. Which if he is allowed to like he says he is, we're in great shape.

It was a University matter. Howland didn't have anything to say about it

His brother is leaving, so it does make some sense he might just leave too. But yeah, he's nowhere near NBA draftable, he'd have to work his way through G-league.
The more interesting thing here is Lamar Peters leaving, weird breakup situation IMO.
Will be interesting to see what MSU looks like next year without Holman, Q. Weatherspoon and Peters. Starting group probably just about as good as any, but then the bench is kind of cleared a bit. Going to rely on some freshman to really make an impact like Elias King.
