I think everyone believes that to be the case. Hicks has 3 years of knowledge in the offense already, and has been here since Day 1 of Spring, whereas Starkel won't be here until June.
Never know though. Starkel may come in and light it up right away. We haven't had a decent QB competition in awhile?

I liked Starkel but he made just a few too many really dumb plays. Guy can throw it.

We haven't had a decent QB competition in my lifetime. Maybe Mallet and Wilson, but that was no competition. Mallet was better from day 1.
